Fun Cycling day to Morretes - We had a fun day of cycling to Morretes. The route was a bit challenging at times but definitely exhilarating. Pedro took great care of us and was attentive and communicative, both during the planning phase and on the day of the tour. He is a very professional and caring guide.

Private Cycling Tour to Morretes and luxury Train back to Curitiba - We booked three private cycle tours with Pedro a) Interparks city tour; b) Vila Velha state park; c) Morretes with luxury carriage scenic train return. We also booked 2 transfers between the airport and our hotel as well. Pedro is a really nice guy with excellent English and easy to talk with so everything was arranged by email quickly. He sent details of the routes we would cycle and arranged for helmets as well as bikes for us. The final tour to Morretes was again different as Pedro picked us up with his driver in a van from our hotel and drove us out to the Church of Bom Jesus da Campininha in Quatro Barras. The bikes were taken off the roof rack and we cycled Dom Pedro Avenue, an old path in the Graciosa Mountains to Morretes. As we were making good time cycling, Pedro included some more paths so we could cycle on the oldest path as well to get a full sense of history. The driver in the van followed us the whole way so if we had any issue we could transfer to the van but we didn’t need to. It was good to get out in the countryside and the blue bougainvilleas on the sides of the road were beautiful. The cobblestone roads give you a “Brazilian massage” and just as we were getting tired of bumping around we got to the end of the cobbles and were back on the tarmac. After 55km of cycling and 500m of easy climbing (1,350m of descent) we arrived in Morretes where we put the bikes back on top of the van. We had time for lunch in Morretes and a look around the town before catching the train back to Curitiba where Pedro met us at the station to transfer us back to our hotel. We asked Pedro if he could book the luxury carriage on the train which is very nice with a small meal and drinks e.g. glass of sparkling wine on arrival as well as wine or beer with the meal or after. The journey back to Curitiba has some nice scenery and is very popular with tourists as a day trip even without cycling but cycling was half the fun in our opinion! We really enjoyed our tours with Pedro and highly recommend him!
