Unforgettable experience - This was a wonderful experience- unforgettable for me. It‘s known how difficult and time intensive it is to make mosaics but you don‘t understand just how difficult until you try yourself. It was so much fun to try (and fail). And luckily whenever you fail they will help you. You go away with the biggest smile. I had a great experience and will never forget this. Plus you get a piece of mosaic to take home with you!

A unique and authentic experience - This is truly a unique, authentic hands-on experience and we had a great time. If you are tired of the crowds in the souls and want to learn how the beautiful tile work that you see everywhere is created, you can learn from a master craftsman. We enjoyed learning about the whole process of how tile is made and then got to create our own mosaic with instruction from Sadeeq. What a wonderful souvenir to take home as a memory of our time in Marrakesh. We did have a little bit of a language barrier but that was part of the fun and we managed to communicate well. The transportation to and from our hotel was easily arranged and our driver was very friendly and helpful. Definitely give this consideration when planning your trip.

Best activity in Marrakech! - This is an absolute must do for Morocco! Abdel was amazing at communicating and so friendly throughout the entire experience. The instructor has been doing mosaic work for decades and you get the opportunity to see and practice each step of the process. This has been my favorite activity so far and I will cherish my personal mosaic tile forever. Make time for this experience!

Great hands-on activity - Had such a great time! Learned so much about the hard work that goes into making these mosaics and got to try some for ourselves. I definitely will not be getting a job in this industry but we had so much fun and some of my tiles were acceptable

Take this workshop!!! - If you have an extra morning or afternoon in Marrakech, appreciate working with your hands, and want to learn more about Moroccan culture, you MUST do this mosaic workshop! It was hands down our favorite thing we did in the city. Our instructor has been making mosaics for decades and was absolutely lovely to spend the afternoon learning from. And Atman, our driver who also doubled as interpreter, cheerleader, and personal photographer, was wonderful to work with and made us feel safe and welcome.

Beautiful experience with Moroccan mosaics - Beautiful experience, Mouad accompanied us from the center of Marrakech to the Ssadk workshop that explained this beautiful and ancient art. We brought home two very nice tiles. I highly recommend this experience.

Fascinating and fun - First we were given a tour of how the tiles are made - from moistening and shaping the clay to firing in outdoor ovens probably identical to the ones used 100s or even 1000s of years ago. Then we learnt how to cut tiles (tricky but absorbing) and made our own lovely tiles to take home. Our guide and the master craftsman were lovely warm and patient.

Great experience - Very nice workshop, you can make your own mosaic and otherwise you get everything that is involved. Definitely recommended to do in Marrakech!
