The trek is Amazing and there is good view over Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær and the Mountain that are Erupting in Reykjanes peninsula in a distance of 25 KM. From there, you can also see the steam from a Geothermal, Glacier Snæfellsjökull. Ask the Guide about the Alaska Lupin, Angelica Archangelica healingplants and the breeding song from the birds in the summer time. The Arctic Fox and the Ptarmigans birds in the winter time. Like worlds apart yet so near. We’re just a 20-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik. Our ATV adventure takes you to the hills in Reykjavik’s backyard, where the wilderness begins. You’ll enjoy stunning views of the area, including volcanoes, geothermal steam, Mount Esja, towns, lakes, and horses. You can even see the famous basalt columns during this 2.5-hour activity. If we’re fortunate, you might catch the red sky of the Midnight Sun in summer or the Northern Lights in winter, as if in another world.
We offer pickups from all hotels in the Reykjavik area where possible. However, please note that Reykjavik has designated non-pickup zones in the downtown area, so we use special tourist bus stops there. The nearest bus stop is usually close by.
If you choose to meet us at the meeting point, our basecamp is just a 20-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik.
