  • Flugumýri 18 - Following a pickup at your Reykjavik hotel, meet your guide and take the 15-minute journey to the quad biking base outside the city.

On arrival, listen to a safety briefing and pull on your helmet, then hop onto your quad bike and head into the countryside with your guide.

We will drive the ATV´s to the Lake Hafravatn to have a short Kodak moment and perhaps look at some Horses the bird Lagopus/Ptarmigan and even some Arctic Foxes that sometimes show up to look at the birds on the way up to the Hafrafell mountain. There you will enjoy an amazing view of Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær and other towns from high in the hills and there, you can see the lava that came out of the volcano very close to Hafnafjordur many years ago and perhaps a sign of the ash and smoke from the active Volcano in Geldingadalur in Reykjanes peninsula.

Great trip! - Despite the dreary weather, our tour was amazing. Helga was so knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure to tell us about Icelandic culture and was very informative at all of our stops. Cannot recommend enough.

Fun ATV ride in Iceland - Got picked up at the port and taken to location to begin the ATV ride. We were provide jumpsuits, gloves and helmets for the ride. We did various stops and were able to take pics at each stop. Guide provided info at each site as well. Fun time. It would be great to see the Northern lights this way also.

Perfect half day trip from Reykjavik - Great ATV riding adventure in the mountains above Reykjavik! The best part is how close they are to downtown Reykjavik, 20 min ride to the facility which is included in the price. We had a great experience riding ATVs up 2 mountains and around the local area while getting a great view of the city from up high. They give you a snow mobile type suit, gloves and a helmet with face shield so you stay plenty warm and dry during the ride. This was my second time riding with them in 2 years and I enjoyed it both times. The best part is that you're back in Reykjavik in time for happy hour after the 2 pm ride! The ATVs are governor controlled to about 62 kph but you have plenty of power and don't need to go faster because of the mountain trails. Great value for the money!

Thrilling Experience with Accommodating Guide! - We knew we wanted to ride Quads around the Reykjavik area and read about many options that sounded similar. We are glad we chose ATV Reykjavik. We originally chose this group because when i asked if it ascended one or two peaks they responded that it depended on the comfort level of the guests. That was the perfect response. As it turns out, we were the only ones with Bjorkwin, the owner, and we had a great time. As first time Quad riders we didn't know what to expect but we were comfortable enough to keep up the pace and took in both peaks overlooking the city. We stopped to see some beautiful horses as well. A great company and a great activity.

Must book - Pick up was on time, lovely drive to the ATV centre. On arrival, we were greeted by Helga who is ab absolute asset to the experience. Given all the equipment and shown how to use the ATVs, Helga made us feel comfortable and confident. Amazing views and plenty of pit stops to take it all in (also got some great photo ops). The most memorable experience when visiting Iceland.
