Highlights

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - At 08:30 in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive 120 km on a paved road to Tarangire National Park for game drives. After enjoying a picnic lunch, we will continue with afternoon game viewing in the park, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, pythons, zebras, oryx, impalas, and more. The park is home to over 450 bird species. Late in the afternoon, the driver will take you for dinner and an overnight stay at Bougainvillea Safari Hotel in Karatu.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, you will drive towards the fertile crater highlands where the Iraqi people cultivate wheat, corn, and coffee. You will pass the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti National Park plains around midday. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest park, features diverse habitats and landscapes, including short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, mountains, and lakes. Unique rock formations called kopjes are scattered across the grassy landscape, often harboring predators. Depending on the season, you will witness the famous migration of thousands of animals. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the northern hills to the southern plains. In the longer rainy season from April to June, they return north. Our overnight stay will be at Serengeti Safari Lodge in Serengeti Park.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Dawn is an excellent time for wildlife viewing, so you will rise early for a morning game drive. Afterward, you will return to the camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive in the park. In the Seronera region, wildebeests and zebras are often seen near lions and other predators like leopards and cheetahs. Following a picnic lunch, you will continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching the crater rim, you will enjoy stunning views of this 600-meter-deep collapsed volcano.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, you will descend the steep and narrow road into the crater. The slopes are forested, but the landscape soon transitions to savannah. The wildlife here is spectacular, and with some luck, you may observe the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – within a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. After a morning of game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the early afternoon and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.

The happy moments brought happy moment - It was a fantastic experience. Happy Moments has arranged accommodation in Dreams of Farms, another unique lodge with excellent facilities. In Serengeti, we stayed in the lodge and the food prepared by the chef was excellent in taste. I recommend them as excellent value for money spent. Our guide Ben has excellent eyesight to spot the animals far away.

Absolutely perfect safari ! - We just had an amazing time with this company. First, the organisation was easy, the informations were clear and everything was so very well going as planned on the website. Our tourguide Ben was so kind and cared a lot about our pleasur and comfort. The cooking was just amazingly good and varied, You can also ask for a veggie menu. We saw all the animals, included the big 5. Ben knows the region very well and bring you to the exact places where animals are.
