personalized experience at its best - The hot springs ("warm spring") do not disappoint. They are as beautiful as the pictures. Going early helped us beat the busy time as we were getting out for lunch as most of the crowds were coming. The fish nibble on your feet (does not hurt or tickle) which was fun! There is a swing over the spring also. Ziggy went above and beyond and even took me on a tour of the market in Moshi and to a smoothie place (Wishing Tree) that I wanted to check out. Great tour, very accommodating and a lot of fun!

swimming - The view was amazing and superb and my visitors enjoyed a lot, The area is perfect for taking beautiful photos, with the contrast between the vibrant blue water and the surrounding greenery.

Rope Swing was Awesome - We were there in the winter, but were still able to have a great time. We got there early so it wasn't too crowded. I paid $5 USD for an innertube. There are little fish that eat your dead skin cells in the water. I loved just floating there having a "treatment." My six yr old grandson loved the rope swing. The changing rooms do not have benches or hooks so just know if you go, you'll want to figure a way to change without putting everything onto the dirt floor. There are also toilets, but we didn't use them.

Was fantastic never seen before - The Chemka hot springs are an ideal place to relax tired legs after a strenuous climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. They're a little piece of paradise that's perfect for a day trip, and the warm blue waters make it perfect for relaxing, swimming or exploring. Return refreshed, revitalized and relaxed.

Hots water - This place is just one of a kind that I have visited in Tanzania. The water is magical and super clean, the fish that eat dirt from your skin and other peaceful creatures living in the waters are just as friendly as the people around. Hard to navigate your way through if you don’t have a 4x4 vehicle as it’s a bit far from the main road and the road through is bumpy and stony. Anyone in Moshi or Arusha I recommend to go visit this hidden gem and get to swim in the magical waters as you get a free pedicure.

Lovely relaxing pools - watch out for the touts - Lovely hotsprings, clear and clean waters. There are little fish that want to eat your skin from your feet etc. it’s weird at first but you get used to it.
Some areas warmer than others, but overall I was never cold and it was an overcast day.
Watch out for touts with the rope swing, they want your money just for grabbing the swing and passing it to you.

Nice 'hot' springs - It's an hour and a half drive from Moshi town. The second half of the drive is through unpaved roads. As our driver said "get ready for African massage". The hot springs is not hot at all. The water seems to be coming through underground from Kilimanjaro. The pool/spring is quite deep. Most people use the tubes that's readily available (for a price). If one has a day to relax, this is a good place. An hour to 90 minutes is sufficient.
