Unforgettable Hiking Experience with Altezza and Elia! - We recently completed a 7-day trip with Altezza and had an amazing time with the team led by Elia, who was extremely professional, charismatic, and effective in running and managing the 28-people support team. Musa and Innocent were the junior guides who were super friendly, dependable, and knowledgeable about the trail and hike. The chef Samwe (can you correct the name spelling?) even made Chinese food for us while on the mountains. The waiter Ismael has the best smile and service in the world. He sets up the cutest tea breaks in the mountains. For the summit night, the whole team worked hard to ensure we summit successfully. They were cheering and singing for us every step of the way. The whole crew was truly amazing. I can’t say enough great things about them. Oarsman, Robert, Salomon, Jackson, Kulusu… you are wonderful!! Can't recommend Altezza/Elia enough if you are looking to hike Kilimanjaro.

Altezza 7 day Lemosho tour to Kilimanjaro - After a lot of research I booked the Lemosho Route (7 day) with Altezza. We were a group of 6 Kiwi's and were joined by a group of 4 US guys - all around the same age so kind of perfect for the convos and banter. The trip was fantastic, Altezza looked after us completely. This started from our initial queries with Stacy, to Doris who ensured we got on the tour in Tanzania and then the full support crew on the trip. With a group of 10 we had a support team of 48 which was amazing. With Altezza being so popular (with good reason) we were in group Rhino, led by Rachid who knew exactly what he was doing and ensured at all times we were safe and happy. I can't thank our Rachid, Abdullah, Hansa, and Urhio (our lead guides) enough. While walking in the day we would turn a corner and be pleasantly surprised with a tea and snacks area set up by Abraham and Feraji. At night the views were spectacular and it felt we often got poll position in camps. Overall is was a remarkable experience with all 10 of us summitting. Things that stood out: - Great food, I can't believe they can cook that on the mountain - Portable toilets - definitely invest in one, so worth it - Summit night, the singing and chanting to keep us going - The knowledge and kindness of our guides and rest of support team - It's soooo dusty... lots of baby wipes needed - Taking the extra trip to the Glaciers... very cool and thanks to Abdullah and Ishmail for taking us... and the run back down to base camp - so much fun! - Layers layers layers.... I wore 6 on top, 3 (including insulated ski pants) on bottom, 2 pairs of socks + feet warmers, 2 pairs of gloves + hand warmers, balaclava and fleece lined woollen hat.... but it worked :) - You aren't supposed to take $$ on the mountain but I highly recommend a few for some extra beers at the end.... or getting your boots cleaned...but really about the beers! Barraca wall - such a fun day of hiking - I highly recommend Altezza!

Perfect services - Altezza is a very professional operator of Kili tours and safari. We got more than we expected. Pre-communication and local services were perfect, similar to guides and each member of support teams. They help everyone on professional level to achieve their goal, to be on the roof of Africa. And they were success with this. Thank you for all of them.

Best way to climb Kili is with Sha- Sha- Shabani! - This trip was phenomenal. Our guide Shabani and his team (Frederick, Moussa, Khatib, Aggrey, Emmanuel, Gérald) were the best we could have dreamt of. From diligent twice daily medical checks and the provision of medication as necessary to the incredible support, chanting and technical expertise, on trail and at camp with the incredible team behind them (cooks, who accommodated very well my GF diet; the joyfull Kili shoeshine, most important job at camp!; morning coffee/tea/cocoa in the tent at wakeup call; a warm bushbaby at night IYKYK). We were a group of 15, many individuals and some groups of 2. Shabani did a spectacular job creating a team spirit which undoubtedly helped us ALL summit, despite altitude sickness. The guide's expertise and team dynamic made it possible and we will forever be grateful to the professionals who accompanied us. 11/10 would recommend Altezza for the seamless organization and peofessionalism. Shabani is particular knows what he's doing, has such good attitude and helped us forge lifelong friendship amongst the group of 15 climbers. Thank you from the bottom of our heart!

Exceeded expectations! - All 15 people in our group made It to the summit. We wouldn’t have made It without the guidance, help and support of our guides, cooks, porters and other support teams. They were kind, enthusiastic, attentive and genuinely cared about our health and experience. From the service I received when first inquiring about the trip, through pre-planning to the actual climb, everyone at Altezza was helpful, prompt and pleasant to work with. I was extremely happy with my choice Of Altezza! They exceeded all of my expectations.

7 days lemosho with Altezza - We had the most amazing experience we could ever wish for. First of all, the organisation was impeccable. They gave a clear briefing of what to bring and the things you could rent were top quality. Everything was arranged into detail, so we never had to worry. We went for the 7 days Lemosho route and because of the whole team we made it to the top. Everything they promised on the website, was fulfilled even above our expectations. Our headguide Shabani was a very intelligent man and took care of you like you were family. Special thanks to the team (69 people who helped 15 tourists to make it to the top). The tourguides: Agry, Frederik, Mussa, Khateeb, Emmanuel. Also a big thank you to Houssein (aka mister president) for always making sure we had drinkable water and warm water to wash the cold hands. Then a big thank you as well to misters shoeshine: Salmon and Maturo. A really big thank you to our waiters, especially in the morning bringing hot tea to the tents: Heaven, Ashuman. And the biggest thank you to the other porters, who brought all our stuff to every camping site in a really fast time, making sure that we have our tents already ready arriving there. The Trip of a Lifetime - What an amazing experience, Altezza were superb from the planning stage right through. I cannot believe how professional and caring the guides were, they got us to the top. Big thanks to Rashid, Hamza, Uriol, Linus, Abdullah, the camp master, the cooks, the waiters Ibrahim and Feragi and the whole complement , hope I haven't missed anyone. We took the Lemosho route, it was awe-inspiring with the landscape changing each day. This is an experience that will be emblazoned in my memory forever. Altezza Is Amazing - Definitely the trip of a lifetime made possible by the superb job of the team from Altezza! All of the pre-trip planning by Aya, our trip coordinator, had us totally prepared for the trek. From our arrival at JRO, transport to and from the airport, hotel accommodations, even a few last minute requests, Aya handled everything to perfection. As for the trek itself, the team of 28 that took the five of us to the summit was fantastic! Our guides were amazing! Bosco, Osman, Urio, Kova, and Zach were our "summit" guides and thanks to their vast expertise, we were able to reach Uhuru peak in very difficult weather conditions! While many other groups turned back, the experience and calm leadership of our team got us to the top! I can't say enough good things about these guides!!! A special shout out also to our camp manager Thomas and our waiter Edward! Outside of our guides, we interacted with these two the most and they made our stay in the camps awesome! Our experience with Altezza was the best and I would highly recommend them for any Kilimanjaro adventure!

Altezza is your best choice for Kilimanjaro! - On August 5th I summit Kilimanjaro. Our group was comprised of 7 girlfriends originally from USA, Mexico and Greece celebrating our 45th birthday. I cannot say enough about how absolutely AMAZING Altezza is! We planned our trip for about 10 months and selected them based on the Tripadvisor reviews. A couple months before our trip, separately friends of friends had used the same company. This further reassured our choice. Leissan and the team in Arusha are running a very professional organization with incredible attention and care for their customers. We selected the VIP package, and I would do it all over again. Their team is over the top superb. At all times, our group felt confident we were in the hands of professionals and taken good care of; twice a day we had medical checkups and Diamox was supplied based on our needs and progress. The guides are very knowledgeable and shared on various occasions that Altezza was a great employer. They took the time to understand our strengthens and weaknesses to make sure 100% of our group would summit. And we did! The team that supported our group was also incredible. The food was delicious with multiple options every meal. Altezza has the most modern and high-end camping equipment, and their rental gear was all top of the line. Even our guides knowledge of the flora and fauna was extensive. We enjoyed Teatime at the most picturesque spots every day and felt truly like royals during our hike. A shout out to our guides Viktor, Jackson, Davide, and all the staff who was part of our excursion. You made this experience a memorable one for all of us. Thank you!
