Go to the top with Altezza - 10/10 in all respects... the Altezza organization is perfect! We were accompanied by a magnificent team that was very professional and always attentive to the customer. Guide Athumani and his assistant guide, Godfrey, put all their experience at our service to make us succeed in this magnificent climb.

8 day Lemosho - WOW. I am not one to typically leave a review but I have to after this trip. My friend and I went with a randomely selected group for the 8 day Lemosho tour. It was perfect all the way from the customer service down to every single detail.
Food: everything was so delicious. I was expecting bland camping food but I was so wrong. So many varieties plus the chefs are very accommodating for those who have diet restrictions. They went out of their way to make gluten free noodles and bread for my friend.
Guides: the guides will literally feel like family by the end of this experience. They are patient, kind and very knowledgeable about the mountain. They helped take care of us especially on the Summit night which was VITAL for our success.
Porters: amazing and so impressive. They haul so much gear everyday and then exert so much energy ensuring the campsite is prepared for us after trekking all day.
Recommendations: RENT A TOILET, I promise, you will NOT regret it.

Never dreamed it would be so good !!! - I've been back in the UK for 5 days now and I still cant get over this trip.
This was without doubt the best experience of my life. From start to finish the whole Altezza team where faultless. The gear checks before the start of our climb where thorough and if we didn't have a recommended piece of kit we were given the opportunity to hire it.
We had 5 guides on our Climb, Honest, Goodluck, Innocent, Aliakim and the lead guide Osward, Without their guidance and expertise we would not have had as wonderful a trip. They where informative, helping, funny and above all professional in every aspect of their job. We where an 11 strong team of climbers but there was a back staff of 50 guys helping us on our trek. Yes you read right 50 !!!
Altezza think of everything, some of which where unexpected but very welcomed. From being woken with hot tea or coffee, to hot water bottles at bed time. Health checks twice a day, tea breaks along the route in the most amazing spots and laughs in abundance. whilst the guides are super professional, don't go thinking they encroach on the enjoyment of the trip. They ADD to it, they are so funny and honestly we all laughed so much. They where also there to help in more ways than i can say in a review. From plasters to knee supports, carrying backpack when someone was tired to lifting spirits when you were down, they did it all.
Lets not forget the other members of the team, the chiefs , the servers, the porters all contributed to this wonderful experience. We had 3, meal as day, all cooked on the mountain. Fresh and filling. The soups where amazing. All food served piping hot in the mess tent with an endless flow of boiling water for tea, coffee, hot chocolate and if you ask nicely, root ginger tea.
All 11 of our team, from 25 to 63 years old, made it to the summit and back down with no injuries. Yes the summit is the end goal, but honestly it was such a small part of the whole journey.
I'm a strong believer that you pay for what you get but seriously there was so much more to this trip than what the itinerary states.

We Made IT Because of Altezza!!!!! - My review been long pending since January 2023. Had to choose the option as March 2024 (only months listing in TA can be chosen). But, we made our Mt Kilimanjaro climb on 21st January 2023 with Altezza Travel. Sorry for the delayed review, Altezza. Me & family owe a lot to Altezza Travel crew for successfully climbing Kilimanjaro. We wouldn’t have made it without them- the truth.
From the beginning of the enquiry which was handled by Angelina- it was really smooth with lots of details sharing, planning & preparations with final agreement on the Lemosho Route of 8 days climb.
The day we landed at Kilimanjaro, meet up with the crew - this was the starting point of our climbing journey. The entire crew assisted us patiently, motivating us, guiding through rough hikes, taking care our requests and needs, monitoring our physical capability and enhancing our mental strength. The goal to reach the Uhuru Peak planted and we pushed our limits- both body and mind- the fresh tears flooding upon summiting the peak together as a family- we admitting the bond with the crew a blessing with true joy. They were REAL friends- friends we never had before who were willing to do extra miles for us in making our dreams come true. Conquering majestic Kilimanjaro- a bucket list & a vision. Only those experienced would understand our feelings.
Friends are not really those we knew or had from childhood, school, work, etc but also those who gave hand in hand to steer us towards our goal, being there for us giving the mental toughness and emotional resilience- we found this value from the Altezza Travel crew. And I personally have not forgotten them and any of the journey we had together with them.
There are names worth mentioning - climbing a mountain - we were 4 adults with our teenager (15 years old) - our lives lies with the crew - the weather, the routes, our health monitoring, our physical conditions, etc. Each factors were managed effectively leading to safe and successful climb.
Thank you very much to our climbing crew led by Eli & Albert, supported by Errick, Sulaiman, Masangi and the entire Altezza Travel crew!!!!

Life changing experience - Climbing Kilimanjaro changed my life to a better and healthier. That's because I had to start excercicing to prepare for the hike. I'm 58 years weighing inn at 106 kg. and have a job still-sitting before the computer.
The last 5 month I've excerciced 2-3 times a week to prepare, and I'm now able to jog 5 km nonstop.
Altezza exeeded my expectations of customer service. Everything was running smooth, and all the right information given at the right timing. The logistics behind the expedition was very omplex involving lots of people and lots of equipment and supplies.
A special thanks to the excellent guide Oswald that brought all eleven of us in the group safely to the summit. and back again. Also Elijakim, Goodluck. Innocent and Honesty, the four other guides, were totally amazing, always ensuring everyone in the group was taken well care of. One word summarizes the experience - AMAZING.

It’s like staying at a hotel while hiking - Altezza exceeded my expectations. The guides were knowledgeable and very professional. I felt very well informed throughout the climb. The food was phenomenal: they made us a freakin’ pizza on the mountain! We were treated exceptionally well by the climbing crew. I have never experienced this much comfort while on the trail. Highly recommended.

100000/10 stars - I had such an amazing time on this tour. I'm sure it took countless hours of organizing but everything from our perspective seemed effortless. The tents were comfortable, the food delicious and plentiful, and the guides and porters were so friendly. With the twice daily medical checks and the briefing about the next day before dinner I never felt unsafe or unprepared. I never had a single moment of wishing I was at home or back in a hotel. It was the most amazing time and surreal experience Ive ever had. And I know that we were the best taken care of group on that mountain. I could go on and on. Everything was amazing and I can't sing the praises of this team enough. I can't wait, to not only come back, but to tell all my friends and family about it!

Bloody Good Kilimanjaro Experience with Altezza! - I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route (8-day) with Altezza Travel in December 2024, summiting on New Year’s Day 2025—an absolutely incredible experience!
From start to finish, Altezza was flawless. The guides were outstanding, ensuring safety, motivation, and expert pacing. The porters were unbelievable, making camp life smooth and comfortable. Food was top-notch, and everything was perfectly organized.
Summit night was tough but magical, and reaching the peak as the first sunrise of 2025 lit up the sky was truly unforgettable.
If you’re climbing Kilimanjaro, go with Altezza—they are the best in the business. Highly recommend!

10/10 would recommend - Fantastic from start to finish. Great trip. The guides were on top of things along the way and helped with any issues. The porters aswell are the only reason it's all possible so a big shout out to them for all their hard work. Food was great.

10/10 experience - it made me want to do the whole thing again!! - I would recommend Altezza to any climber wanting a taste of a high altitude peak without compromising quality and comfort. Good for a first timer.
The planning was seamless, and the entire team made us feel so comfortable.
Our guides, Imran and Jackson, brought 10/10 vibes—always supportive, fun, and knowledgeable. Medical knowledge from guides was helpful and we didn’t feel like we were ever in danger (even when I was hit with bad altitude sickness after an acclimitisation walk).
The whole crew (shoutout to Shwahib, Godfrey, and Amani) felt like family, and we made so many lifelong friendships along the way.
With small luxuries like portable toilets and hot showers, plus a safe, well-paced climb, summiting at sunrise was a lot easier than expected!
