Aussies day tour with Joel - The day trip was amazing, Joel was such a great guide! We had a day full of laughs and learnt a lot about the area as well as some more Swahili for our vocabulary. Everything was clear on timing and there was wifi available in the car rides between stops which was great. Joel was also very friendly with all the locals and even friends with most of them he even got to have lunch with us which was great

Wonderful trip to see the nature around Kilimanjaro - The trip was really great. We had an amazing day with our guide Enock starting with a hike to the Materuni waterfalls which were really impressive, having lunch at the Materuni village with the great experience to learn everything about the process of roasting coffee and enjoying a cup of our owned roasted and brewed coffee. Afterwards we drove to the Chemka Hot Springs to relax in the water and enjoy the beautiful nature. We would definitely recommend the trip. Enock was a great guide, he was very friendly, explained everything we wanted to know about Tanzania, the Arusha region and stopped at many spots for amazing pictures! Thank you again, we had a wonderful day! :)

Best safari experience - I recently enjoyed a 4-day private safari tour with Nkollo Tours, which included visits to Materuni Waterfalls, a coffee tour, and Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The experience was unforgettable, offering breathtaking scenery, cultural immersion, and exceptional service. Materuni Waterfalls showcased nature's beauty, the coffee tour provided insights into Tanzanian culture, and Kikuletwa Hot Springs offered rejuvenation. Nkollo Tours' knowledgeable guides ensured a memorable and safe journey, making it a highly recommended safari adventure.

Amazing experience thanks to an amazing tour operator and its amazing staff - If you have a spare day in Arusha region, do not hesitate to take this day trip! It is such a diversified experience that you undergo in just a few hours that I am not even sure what my favourite part of it was - the drive itself (including African massage), the hike through jungle to the impressive Materuni waterfall, the spectacular show of preparing your own African coffee from A-Z, the lovely food or the refreshing swim in Kikuletwa hot springs?! Me and my friend Melanie went on this day trip straigh away after landing in Arusha airport. We were tired like dogs after the long sleepless flight, nevertheless we could not have wished for a better start into our Tansania adventure. Nkollo Tours took a really fantastic care of us both in planning and executing this trip. We are very, very thankful for all the efforts made and for the super friendly attitude. Definitely worth booking with Nkollo Tours, highly recomended!

Terrific day! - Matenuri Falls was spectacular, and seeing the coffee process and lunch in the mountain-side village was an experience to remember. Benson made everything we did even better with his knowledge and assistance.

A great experience with the local Materuni community - We did a day to Materuni waterfalls, coffee tour & Chemka Hot Springs as a day tour. Our tour guide was Andrew, who was exceptional. Andrew showed us and informed us on the main attractions as we drove from Arusha to Materuni village. The walk to the Falls was great. Then we experienced the complete process of coffee making which was so much of fun, as we interacted with the locals. We were then treated to a very delicious lunch at the Materuni village. We had a great time and were so glad that we did this day tour.

A wonderful day! - Andrew was the best guide we could have hoped for in this day tour. We somehow managed to arrive at the hot springs while there was literally nobody else there and we had the pools for ourselves the full stay there. Then we went to the Materuni village and he told us interesting facts along the way and while there. You could tell he loves his job and the people there, it felt as if he was a local, everyone knew him and was happy to see him. We were served a magnificent lunch, with banana soup, white and brown rice, vegetables (that included banana as well) and meat, and some fruits. After lunch we went to roast and brew our own coffee, even on that short walk he found interesting facts to tell us. Andrew even had boots for our walk to the waterfall so we wouldn't get our shoes dirty and showed us plants that locals use to make tea and again, more interesting facts. He somehow even spotted and showed us a few chameleons on the way. If this review convinces you to pick Andrew as your guide, please let him take pictures of you as well, such a great photographer too! Asante sana!

Water and coffee - Great experience but very demanding hike to the falls, probably not for families. The coffee experience was fantastic. It was really too much to cram into 12 hours to fully enjoy it all and we scratched the hot springs.
