Highly recommended! - We did the Materuni Waterfall Tour with friends and it was very cool! The waterfall and nature are impressive and the coffee tour was also very interesting. John as a guide was perfect, he took us safely to the waterfall despite difficult ground conditions and was very nice!

Amazing stay with many perfect organized tours. - Everything was just great! We stayed at Mkoani Homestay and had an amazing time! Peter and Dee and all the other people were very welcoming and we felt like home. They organized the tour to materuni waterfalls, Chemka Hot springs and also our 4 - days safari. And everything was pretty amazing, we had a lot of fun with our Driver/ Guide, John who showed us the most beautiful places and told us everything about the environment what we wanted to know. Dee also organized an amazing birthday dinner for my mum and made our stay at her place very special. I hope that I can come back to her place very soon.

Unforgettable Experience Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour, Hot Springs - We had a fantastic tour to the Hot Springs and the Materuni Waterfall including coffee tour. We booked the tour through Peter from Karibu Africa Home who organized everything great. Our guide John made the day an unforgettable experience. He told us all about the culture and flora and fauna and had an answer to each of our questions. On the way to the waterfall he told us all about the different fruits and the life of the locals. Afterwards we learned a lot about the coffee grown there and roasted it ourselves. We in the super opportunity to buy nice souvenirs at a fair price!! The drive to the Hot Springs is quite a long one, but the trail is the destination and has given us unforgettable impressions so it never got boring. Can recommend the tour to anyone.

Outstanding! - I happened upon Tarry Adventures and Safaris when I booked my Moshi accomodation at Karibu Africa Home. Peter, the host, shared that they also organized activities and tours. I was instantly interested in the waterfall & coffee and hot springs tour and when I asked for more information, Peter gladly shared it. He was so helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns. John was my guide for the waterfall & coffee tour. He was great! He drove me to and fro and took his time to point out some native plants and shared their cultural significance to the Chagga people. The weather was perfect for the hike to the waterfall and back. He was also willing to take photos. The lunch was provided at a local Chagga homestead, I loved trying out their food. Lunch was followed by the coffee tour provided by local guides. It was amazing to see how the Chagga process their organically grown coffee without machines. It was interactive and I enjoyed the communal singing! Throughout the day, I did not feel rushed at all and even learned some new Swahili words from John. The hot spring tour was so much fun! The drive there was such an adventure, plus it allowed me to see a part of the region that is flat and dry. It was so serene and relaxing! When I'm ready for the Kilimanjaro climb, I'll undoubtedly book it with Peter and his team at Tarry, and stay at his homestay, Karibu Africa Home, again!
