The journey to the Materuni Waterfall begins with a stroll through the surroundings of the waterfall, showcasing the stunning Tanzanian natural landscape. This is a chance to view the growth of local fruits such as avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas, while also getting acquainted with the regional history, customs, community economics, farming and cultural lifestyle. Swimming in the waterfall’s natural pool is a reinvigorating experience - don’t forget your swimsuit!

The tour progresses with a stop at a local village nestled within coffee plantations. The locals will showcase the coffee farming procedure and lead you through the journey of coffee, from berry to a brew. Join in on the song and dance with the Chaga community while they grind, roast and boil the beans. Once the coffee is prepared, a traditional Chaga meal is served for lunch.
