Incredible views - If you're looking for a truly unforgettable experience in Tanzania, Materuni Waterfall is a must-see. Located just outside of Moshi, this stunning 70-meter waterfall is tucked away in the lush rainforest, offering an incredible blend of natural beauty and tranquility. The journey to the waterfall itself is an adventure, with a scenic trek through the vibrant village of Materuni, where you'll pass by coffee farms, local farms, and breathtaking landscapes.
Once you reach the waterfall, the view is nothing short of spectacular. The clear, cool water cascades dramatically down into a crystal-clear pool, creating a serene atmosphere that makes the hike well worth it. The sound of the rushing water, combined with the fresh, cool air, is incredibly refreshing and peaceful.

Refreshing Day at Chemka Hot Springs - My day trip to Chemka Hot Springs was absolutely amazing! The clear, blue waters were incredibly refreshing, and the scenery was like something out of a dream. Our guide,Nova shared fascinating local stories and made sure we had everything we needed. We spent hours floating in the warm water, shaded by beautiful greenery, feeling completely relaxed. I’d recommend this trip to anyone looking for a unique, natural experience in Tanzania.

We had a great time on this tour! Our guide was wonderful. - I really liked the activity today especially the Materuni waterfall. The hike was fabulous, the views are very nice and the waterfall is gorgeous. We were lucky enough to see mount kilimanjaro as well. The hot springs are nice but the road there is very bumpy.Julius, the guide, was very helpful, respectful and knowledgeable.

“A Wonderful Day at Materuni Waterfalls!” - What a perfect day trip! The Materuni Waterfalls were even more beautiful than we imagined, with lush greenery and refreshing pools. Our guide shared so much about the local plants and traditions, and we also got to enjoy some freshly brewed coffee prepared by a local farmer. It was the ideal mix of relaxation and adventure, and African Trek & Travel made everything easy from start to finish. Highly recommend this day trip if you're looking for a quick escape to nature!

Good refreshing waterfall - What an incredible experience! The walk to the waterfall was beautiful, surrounded by stunning natural views and a clear sky inviting us to explore. Standing under the waterfall and stepping into the cool water was truly breathtaking an unforgettable moment. We were also warmly greeted by the local tribe and had the unique opportunity to make coffee from freshly harvested beans. An absolutely remarkable experience!

beautiful seen - It was great, the guide was very friendly and welcoming! The day went very well, the waterfalls were beautiful and he took the time to take pictures of me where I wanted! Then we made coffee and ate with locals and finally we went to the “hot springs” to swim, it was beautiful

Breathtaking waterfall - Materuni Waterfall is a must-visit destination, especially with African Trek & Travel. From our stay at Shimbwe Meadow (highly recommended!), it took about an hour to hike there. The journey was captivating, with stunning valleys and hills, the soothing sounds of flowing rivers, and birds singing along the way. Every step toward the waterfall was magical, and the waterfall itself was simply breathtaking. If I ever get the chance, I would love to visit again!

A mind blowing waterfall trip. - Best coffee and traditional dishes, an incredible hiking, virgin green nature and a wonderful piece of history attached to Chagga culture was some of the experiences my travel personality fell in love with.
Many thanks to African Trek&Travel for bringing that bunch of experiences into my travel life.
The trip was well earned and felt.

Test of cultural tours - Great trip with a refreshing walk through the forrest to the waterfall. Just what we needed after our 5-day Safari. In Materuni, you feel very much like in the rain Forrest/Jungle and it was not overcrowded with tourists, very calm and surrounded by nature. We also loved the coffee we made ourselves, it tasted very good and not bitter at all. The lunch was delicious, too, and finally Medy made us feel very welcome and was an excellent guide taking care of a safe transport, made sure we are offered a helping hand where needed and took nice pictures of us throughout the day. He is great listener, interesting to talk to and hang out with. We admire his ambitions to keep learning and developing and become an experienced Safari guide in the future. We would be very happy to go on a Safari trip with him one day. All the best my friend. We hope to meet you soon :-)

Amazing Waterfall day tour - Beautiful waterfall, tucked away in the coffee and Banana plantation. Had a good warm up hike before the Kilimanjaro summit. Was a good 1.5-2hrs hike round trip. Very beautiful falls.
