Great day out in rural Tanzania - Can’t add much to what has already been said about this tour. Would do it again and bring friends. Best for those with experience on mountain bikes because of road condition and single tract through the forest. Great way to get to know the area and see what life is like n rural Tanzania. Check bike condition before you start from the shop - brakes, gears, seat. We found a problem with one of our bikes but it was quickly changed out for another bike. That is Africa!

highly recommended - Very nice way to get acquainted with surroundings, you pass isolated villages, via rice fields and sugarcane plantations with the mt. Kilimanjaro always in his sights to finish via a beautiful piece of forest back to Moshi.

A rid to remember - Alpha was a fantastic guide with an impressive amount of knowledge on the area and the people. The entire day was more than I expected and we had a blast going through the villages, farmland and the forests. The latter being absolutely extraordinary. You end with a trip through the train station, then the Moshi market and finally a well deserved lunch which absolutely hits the spot. If you have a day before or after Kili, I would recommend this trip!

Wonderful cycling tour! - We had an amazing cycling trip with Said and Alpha. The tour gave a very good impression of Moshi, the very kind people living here and the beautiful surroundings. We also highly appreciated the easy and good communication. A perfect energy level that also our two young adults liked a lot. We highly recommend the trip!

The perfect way to immerse yourself in local everyday life - We took the bike tour of the villages around Moshi to avoid waiting for lost luggage and we couldn’t be happier! Thanks to bicycles with excellent wheels we were able to turn around the dirt roads of the villages, changing views and immersing ourselves in everyday life away from tourism. We were guided with great passion and always with a smile which made our trip even more enjoyable. The tour in total lasts 5 hours and starts in the villages to end in the forest (where we also saw some monkeys) in front of the oldest tree in the place. Assolutamente consigliato!

Fun way to see area around Moshi - Went with a friend the day before a Kili trek--a fun way to see more of the area! The roads are pretty rough in some places--so be aware if you have bad knees. We had to go pretty slowly so we had to skip lunch due to time constraints, but this wasn't the fault of the tour operator. We loved seeing the monkeys in the Rau forest, goats in the village, sugar cane fields, and rice paddies. Alfa was really nice and carried our water bottles and rain jackets. Thanks!

Fun way to see more of the Moshi area - Had a fun time with Alfa on a bike tour of the villages near Moshi and the Rau Forest. Be aware if you have bad knees, since the roads are really bumpy. Knee problems slowed us down so we had to skip lunch and seeing the Moshi market due to time constraints. But this wasn't the fault of the tour operator. It would be great to have a mileage estimate on the tour description. We loved seeing the rice fields, banana trees, sugar cane fields, and monkeys in the Rau Forest. Alfa was very kind and carried water for us! Thanks!

Authentic and unique experience to explore the countryside of Moshi - This is an excellent way to explore the surrounding area of Moshi. The guide is extremely friendly, speaks great English and is very keen to accommodate all fitness levels of participants. I had a wonderful time cycling through the authentic countryside and highly recommend this tour and Bike2Kili to anyone.

Interesting but could be shorter. - The tour takes place on mountain bikes. Both bikes had faults with the gears not changing to the big chain ring. The ride is mostly flat so it wasn't an issue, luckily. The tour quickly leaves town and enters the countryside through villages. After an hour or so it's all a bit same same. The roads become very bumpy. Some good scenery along rivers and through cane fields and rice plantations. We asked to return early and spent three hours riding through the lowlands, which was more than enough.
