Superb discovery of Moshi and surroundings in total immersion! - Saïd and Alfa welcomed us so much, thank you to them. They pampered us all along the trip with great kindness. The tour has made us discover many things that this country has in store. Plantations, gastronomy, villages and so on. To do and to do again!

you'll see a different side of Moshi, must do - I forget the young mans name that took me of the bike, but he was great. gave me options based on my biking experience, we did about 30km, I turned on my Garmin watch to track our route, I did this on a Thursday so it was a one on one ride. my bike got a flat tire in which we had to get it fixed at a local village bike repair, that should be a part of the itinerary, it was awesome to see them all come together to fix the bike.

Fun rural bike tour - This was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy riding through sugar cane fields, rice paddies, a forest reserve and a newer Tanzanian village. Said, our guide, was knowledgeable and an excellent communicator., The dude ended with a delicious traditional lunch.

Great way to see local life and surroundings - Echoing other reviews, a great way to see Moshi and the surrounding countryside. Our guides, Alfa and Lillian, were outstanding: supportive, knowledgeable, and handled flat tires, fear of heights (going over a train bridge), and flagging energy with aplomb. It’s a bit of a tough ride at times, on bumpy dirt roads in the heat, but well worth it. Probably not for bike novices. The lunch was great, too.

The cure for jet lag - We booked a bike tour with Bike2Kili to fill a free day before our Kilimanjaro climb, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide, Said Jama, was professional, patient, and handled several flat tires along the way with impressive efficiency. The tour began in Moshi and quickly transitioned from paved roads to rough dirt paths winding through rural neighborhoods, sugarcane, and rice fields. We appreciated the unique opportunity to explore the Tanzanian countryside up close. A neck buff is highly suggested as the roads can get dusty. One highlight was riding thru the Rau Conservation Forest, where the cool forest canopy provided a refreshing break. We spotted plenty of Blue monkeys and families of Colobus monkeys—a true treat for nature lovers. The tour concluded with a tasty local lunch at Shukran Cafe. Altogether, the experience lasted about five hours and was the perfect way to shake off jet lag while immersing ourselves in the local scenery and culture. We highly recommend Bike2Kili for anyone visiting Moshi!

The nicest way to get to know the country and the people. - Fantastic route through residential and commercial areas, along wide fields with agricultural cultivation, past schools and railway lines into the forest past a 51m high tree back to Moshi. It gives you an interesting insight into the way of life here, in a beautiful natural setting.
