Highlights
When you reach your goal, you’ll get a wonderful views of the waterfall of 50 m heigh, and if the weather permits, you will be able to pleasantly refresh under its water flows. After the walk, you will return to the village, through the already known route, where you will find coffee ceremony with traditional dances and songs, you will also be offered to participate and try to make yourself some coffee authentic method.

Additional Information
You are scheduled to leave your hotel at approximately 08:00 AM and proceed to the Materuni village. During your stay in the village, you will have the opportunity to delve into the Chagga tribe’s culture and participate in a coffee tour to observe the native methods of coffee cultivation and preparation. Following the coffee tour, you will visit the waterfalls, enjoy your packed lunch, and utilize the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Subsequently, you will be transported back to your accommodation in Moshi.

You will depart your hotel morning and head to the Materuni village While at the village you will get to explore the lives of the Chagga people and do a coffee tour to see how the locals grow and brew coffee. After the coffee tour you will head to the waterfalls.

A wonderful trip to Materuni - I had a wonderful time with Innocent. He was very kind, looking out for me and I got learn a little more about what being a Tanzanian and a Chagga is like.
The transport was efficient, lunch was great and the coffee experience was wonderful.

A wonderful time - My guide was awesome! It was just me on the tour and we drove up to the village of materuni. The hike in was great, local people are happy to see you. After we went and made coffee with people in the village. They also had a great lunch for us all to enjoy! It was wonderful experience overall.

Hike of a lifetime - Innocent is a great guide. My family and I were running late for our meet up but he waited & even took us to a market to get snacks for trip. He is very patient & great personality. The waterfall is breathtaking. Our 9 year old enjoyed running in the forest & played a little soccer with the local kids. He even got to hold a chameleon that the kids in the forest had. On the way to the waterfall we picked up some fresh passion fruit! Great experience even for kids. The coffee visit was also amazing. Again, our son loved grinding, roasting & sifting the beans. The lunch was delicious! We all had more than 1 serving. Everything was delicious.

Do it! Wonderful experience! - A wonderful day! Highly recommend the trip with Innocent. He was professional, educational, good in communication and punctual. Unable to load a lot of photos as my wifi is terrible here but definitely worth the time and money.
The walk, falls, coffee experience and the lunch was fantastic!

Materuni coffee tour - Chimbo point and waterfalls - Amazing coffee tour organised by Zara tours in Moshi. I was delighted to see the waterfall with the guide Agrey +255655856863, who could tell me all about plants and their medicinal use in Tanzania.
We arrived in chimbo point, in Materuni, where Boni +255629748310 led an amazing tour, singing and dancing while processing the coffee. I stay few days there as the view and place were the most beautiful I have seen for a long time. Restful time, i could visit the surrounding area with an other beautiful waterful and felt very fulfilled after few days. I highly recommend.

Great day trip - Great day-trip with MaryoTours. He drove safe. On the walk he have been god to explain and showing plants and fruits. The waterfall and the coffee tour was a nice experience!
