DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (FULL - DAY GAME DRIVE)

Ngorongoro Crater - On this day you leave Arusha town; the base town for safaris in northern Tanzania and along the Arusha – Dodoma highway a scenic drive towards the Tarangire National Park. You will pass by a supermarket (if you wish) for some last-minute shopping of any personal effects that you may need then drive through a scenic Masai Steppe and arrive at Tarangire in 2 hour-time or so.
Your driver will take care of the paper work at the park’s gate then you will embark on your first game drive in the Tarangire National Park famous for its large herds of elephants and large baobab trees that dot the grassland.
The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round in which the herds often can reach an impressive number of 300 animals.

Specifically designed to follow the Great Wildebeest migration when they calf from December to April, The Great Wildebeest Calving Migration Safari covers the Lake Ndutu zone located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is typically home to most of the wildebeest population. The itinerary also includes a visit to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. The Ndutu regions of Tanzania offer prime viewing opportunities during January, February and March as thousands of wildebeests graze the fertile short grass plains. At this time, predator activity is at an all-time high, offering frequent sightings of cheetahs, lions, hyenas and leopards and a highly probable chance to witness thrilling hunts.

Amazing Tanzania Serengeti safari - I was such an amazing tour, It was a 5 days safari which covered 5 top Tanzania national parks, that's Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and lake manyara national park
