The Mosta Dome is a Roman Catholic parish church and basilica located in Mosta, Malta, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. Constructed between 1833 and the 1860s, it was designed in a neoclassical style by Giorgio Grognet de Vassé, on the site of a previous Renaissance church built around 1614 by Tommaso Dingli.
The current church’s design is inspired by the Pantheon in Rome and features the third-largest unsupported dome in the world, making it Malta’s largest and most renowned church. It narrowly escaped destruction during World War II.
