- Ta’ Marija - Your Gastro Maltese Kitchen since 1964 - Organised transport will collect you to take you to the Mosta restaurant from the agreed pick up point at the agreed time which will be approximately as follows: 18:15hrs from Mellieha & Golden Sands or Valletta & Marsaxlokk. 18:45hrs from St. Paul’s Bay & Bugibba or Gzira & Sliema. 19:00hrs from Qawra or St. Julian’s. The restaurant staff will welcome you on arrival at 19:30hrs and show you to your table which is just for your booked group. Your choices for starter and main course will be taken. If you have any special dietary requirements please advise us at the point of booking and reconfirm these to the restaurant staff when they take your order. You may also order items not on the Maltese Tasting menu (e.g. an aperitif/digestif) with separate payment on consumption.
Dinner will be served.
The dance floor will then rise for the folklore show. After the show the dance floor will lower and light up for you to dance.
At 22:30hrs transport will take you back to your pick up point.

Experience a genuine Maltese celebration filled with spirited festivity during folklore evenings at our award-winning family-owned restaurant. Indulge in a lavish 4 course traditional Maltese meal skillfully curated by our renowned chefs, complemented by unlimited local wines, mineral water, and coffee.
Our restaurant’s dance floor becomes the stage for the folklore performance, where dancers adorned in eighteenth-century attire enthrall you with a vibrant display of Maltese historical narrative through their movements.
Following the show, the dance floor illuminates invitingly for you to create your own unforgettable night.
Complimentary transport is provided from locations including Bugibba, Golden Sands, Gzira, Marsaxlokk, Mellieha, Qawra, St. Julian’s, St. Paul’s Bay, Sliema and Valletta. The transportation will deliver guests to the restaurant by 19:30hrs and return them back to their original location following the dinner and show at 22:30hrs.

A good cultural experience - The unique venue, the fast and friendly service, the delcious 4 course menu, with choices, and the traditional folk dancing all contributed to a really enjoyable night. The host ensured that everyone felt welcome and got into the party mood. Efficient pick up and drop off too. We recommend this activity as something fun and different.

Lovely trading Maltese dancing and food - Fantastic 4 course meal of choice maltese dishes with plenty of wine and a cocktail with a secret ingredient. Great ambiance. Lovely traditional dancing showing wonderful maltese costumes. We had a wonderful explanation of each dance.

Delightful way to spend your night - FANTASTIC.
Most important: the food was phenomenal and there was so much of it. I felt like I needed to be rolled home at the end. If they do the squid when you go, you must opt for that. I will dream about it for months.
The manager of the restaurant was a delight - a wonderful host for the night. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty and we were sat with the others who had used restaurant transport. That was unexpected but despite a language barrier, my seat mates were a delight.
The music! We were treated to local guitarists who played both traditional and popular hits (Beatles, jazz, etc.), and then the manager introduced the dancers, who were beautiful and put on a stunning show. After that, the music turned to dance hits (such as Mamma Mia and It’s Raining Men and everyone was invited to the dance floor.
This was a highlight of my trip - sign up! It’a well worth the money.

A Fun, Cultural, Pleasant, Enjoyable, Authentic & Appetising Experience for all. - A very Welcoming, hospitable, attentive, devoted, polite, courteous, affable & congruous restaurant manager/owner (Ben) as well as every staff, Wonderful local food & wine, Brilliant, traditional entertainment/show/dancing with an informative, educational description of the origins & importance behind each dance... By the end of the night I left feeling more knowledgeable, delighted & with a full stomach.

Great - Dancing was amazing and hosts were superb. Lovely family run restaurant. Four courses of food. My daughter loved the food, me not so much because I’m vegetarian. Two of the four courses were meat only-that said it didn’t spoil the overall experience.

Great Experience - It was a very enjoyable evening. We had lovely conversations with strangers at nearby tables, really appreciated the service and enjoyed the food.
The one thing I think might be done is to highlight what is on the menu. A couple of people around me were really put off by the horsemeat.

Great atmosphere, great... - Great atmosphere, great family business, perfectly organized, absolutely recommend.
Be aware that the place serves Maltese specialties (Rabbit, Horse Meat, etc), which I found great, but might not be the perfect choice for younger children

Great evening but bad transfer! - Excellent night, great experience, fabulous host and staff, however the transfer left alot to be desired...the guy had a bad attitude and he drove like a maniac through narrow streets both there and back. We were scared he was going to crash!
It's a shame as we had a wonderful evening apart from that.
