During the 14th century, the town was fortified by the Venetians, the evidence of which is still present in the surviving city walls, serving as an impressive testament to Venetian architectural style. Here, you’ll embark on a guided tour of the city, acquainting yourself with its lore, visiting the main square, and sample the renowned truffles of the adjacent forests. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to ascend the city walls for an awe-inspiring perspective of the landscape. Our half-day journey concludes in the early afternoon with a return to your lodgings.
