ITINERARY:
1:00 am
3:00 am: You will be collected from your hotel in a private vehicle equipped with air conditioning, courtesy of our driver.
03.30 am: Upon arrival at the base, you will commence your ascent to Mount Batur’s summit.
5:30 am
6:00 am: Reach the summit of Mount Batur, which stands 1,717 meters above sea level.
6:30 am: Enjoy a mountaintop breakfast featuring banana sandwiches, cookies, eggs, fruit, and a selection of hot beverages (coffee, hot chocolate, or tea).
07:00 am: Begin the descent via a shorter or longer path around Mount Batur’s crater, based on your preference or physical condition.
08:30 am: Reach the end of the trek or the parking area.
8:45 am
11:00 am: Take time to relax and rejuvenate at the Batur Natural Hot Spring.
11:00 am: Commence the drive back to your hotel.

Please bring: A jacket, swimwear or a change of clothes for the hot spring, and a towel. Soap and shampoo will be provided.

Itinerary :

01.30 \- 03.00. Pick up at your Hotel.
04.00. Arrive at mount Batur Trekking start point (Toya Bungkah start point). Meet with your Mount Batur Trekking guide and starting the hike.
05.30 \- 06.00. Arrived at Mount Batur Sunrise view point or continue to the main peak (1.717 meter above sea level).
06.15. Breakfast service (banana sandwich, boiled egg, fruits and hot drinks).
07.00. Trip down and back to car park (if you fit enough walking the entire crater is recommended).
08.30 \- 09.00. Arrived at finish point / car park.
09.15. Visit to Batur Natural Hot Spring.
11.00. Drop you back to your hotel.

Rewarding - Donn, our local tour guide for the Mount Batur sunrise hike, impressed my mate and i with his knowledge of the area, photography skills, and ability to adapt to our pace. Tana is the best guide - Ask for Tana, the hiking guide. He is the best. We started at 4am and was on the summit at 5.30. Tana is very friendly, we will definitely go again.

Combo jeep/trek tour is the move! - Incredible experience! Definitely recommend the combo jeep/trekking tour as the most efficient - one hour more of sleep, fun off-roading in a jeep, and you still get some exercise (about 45m to the top from the jeep park). Our trekking guide Gede was wonderful, so calm and kind. Special shoutout to the jammy egg that they cooked in a handmade pit of the volcano (!!). Don’t skip on this just because of the early wake up call, one of the coolest vacation things I’ve done.

Magnificent Sunrise Experience on Mount Batur with Mr. Adi - We had an unforgettable experience during our private Mount Batur and black lava sunrise tour with Mr. Adi. His choice of location to watch the sunrise was perfect, away from the usual tourist crowds. He explained well the stories about the Batur mountain and its craters as well as the Hindu religion. Additionally, his photography skills added an extra edge to our adventure.

Amazing sunrise hike - We had an amazing experience doing the sunrise hike with our guide Yon. Yon was extremely friendly, spoke great English and was informative with the history of the volcano and surrounding areas. The views were amazing and we got some amazing pictures - for which Yon knew the best spots! Highly recommend!

Sunrise hike with Yon - Our private tour guide, Yon, gave us the best experience! Me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed hiking with Yon, who spoke amazing English and was super helpful when navigating through some of the more difficult spots of the hike. Yon also spent time to take pictures of us and ensured we found all the best spots at the top of the mountain to avoid crowds. Thanks a lot Yon for being so friendly, warm and giving us the best experience of the sunrise hike! :)

Must do experience, brilliant views and guide - We had the most amazing experience going on the sunrise hike, highly recommend. The views were out of this world. We had an absolutely brilliant guide called Oman. He was knowledgable, friendly and attentive. He really looked after us and made sure we had the best experience.
