Mount Batur Sunrise Hike and Optional Natural Hot Spring is a combined package that includes a sunrise trek and optional hot spring soak or other activities in one day.
What are the highlights?
- Embark on an early morning trek up the stunning Mount Batur with an experienced local guide.
- Witness the sunrise from the volcano’s peak and explore craters from 1804 to 1949.
- Relish a well-deserved breakfast with a hot drink at the summit while enjoying the brilliant sunrise colors.
- Cap off your active morning with a soak in a natural hot spring and a refreshing coffee before heading back to the hotel (Optional).
- Add optional trips such as a swing, waterfall visit, and other activities in one day.
Upon arrival at base camp, receive a brief introduction and safety briefing from your guide. Before and after your 1.5-hour hike to the summit, you can relax in our Mt. Batur base camp lounge, the only base camp in the area with clean and comfortable toilet facilities.

Mt Batur Hike and Hot Springs! - Did the hike to the top of Mt Batur, and what an experience it was. Mudi our guide and driver was so informative, accommodating and kind throughout our experience! Wonderfull - A wonderful sunrise, fantastic panorama and the trekking in some places a little tiring but with Wira's help it is possible to do the route without fear. Wira is a very helpful and cheerful person. Sail is very helpful and discreet. Wira and Samil are also great photographers.

Another great experience in Bali! - This was another unforgettable experience in Bali!
We weee afraid of waking up so early (before 2am to come from Ubud) but it was so worth it.
A fantastic sunrise and view of the volcano.
Our driver Ajik was great. He was careful slowing down when we were taking photos and he even stopped us at a place for coffee, teas, cocoa where we could taste the luwak coffee, before getting back to Ubud.
Our guide, Wayan, was a fantastic guide, so patient with us and calm, with great information on the volcano, the area, the people.

Fantastic trek and great service - The hike was fantastic, would say it's moderate in terms of difficulty (far trickier getting back down!). We were lucky to have a clear sky with breath taking views of the sunrise and even saw as far as Mount Rinjani in Lombok. Our guide was great, she was very accomodating and patient with us on the way down, and amazing driver who picked us up from the hotel, dropped us to the hot springs and back to the hotel. Would highly recommend!

Amazing sunrise hike with the most amazing people. - We had a great time and experience, Dodi was perfectly on time and very friendly. Maddi was our tour guide and was super amazing. Loved every minute of this adventure.

Great trip! - We had an amazing time climbing Mt Batur. Our guide Nopia was really helpful and supported us throughout the climb, he was so kind. Our driver Sentana was also great and we felt really safe with him, he also took us to a free coffee tasting on the way home.
