Sunrise spectacular on Mt Batur. - Exhilarating early morning hike for the family. Excellent guides and driving accommodations. Motor bikes on the trail were somewhat dangerous for hikers.

Excellent Hike - We enjoyed our trek, our driver @yogik was excellent from start to finish, nothing was a problem
The views were beautiful at the top, was abit chilly so recommend taking a jacket. Our driver took us to a coffee plantation on way home which we loved too.

Walk the walk ⭐️ - Tough but rewarding experience! Has got to be one of my favourite hikes so far. I loved how challenging it was and being able to go up with friends + making new hiking buddies along the way has the made the experience so much better. Views from the top were out of this world, defs recomend/10. Our driver Nova was also amazing ensuring we were hydrated and comfortable throughout our entire trip!

Stunning sunrise - Pickup at our Hotel was ar 2.30 AM. After an hour ride we reached the starting point of our trek, where we also met with our tourguide Wayan. We had a guide for ourselves, so we were able to choose our own trekkingspeed. After almost 1.5h, we reached the top, where we had a simple breakfast. Weather and the sunrise were stunning. Make sure to bring warm clothes as it gets pretty cold on top. Blankets to rent are available for 50k.
All in all a very nice experience. Thank you Soma for organizing this trip for us!

Trekking vibes - Left hotel at 1.00 am and felt very comfortable during 2/5 hours on the road drove by Nyoman. He was a great one and polite guy. He bring us to enjoy a cup of tea before we start. Climb at 4.00 am by walking smoothly follow the trekking path. It’s tired but worth to visit for the magic sunrise views from the top. Then followed by soaking in warm water. What’s a beautiful day. Recommended trip!

Mount Batur Trekking Review - Our group had an AMAZING TIME!!! Our driver Yogik picked us up at our hotel at 1 am and the drive from Kuta to the volcano was 2 hours, but Yogik made it very pleasant and easy. Our guide was Suryadi and was also awesome. He helped me up the steep trail and made sure my entire group was safe. He also took some awesome photos for us. Really recommend this trek, blew my expectations out of the water!! Beautiful views and an overall fun time!

Great Views, Service was average - The view is absolutely beautiful from the top of the mountain. Although, I was disappointed that I could not reach the top of the summit due to time constraints. I was told that I was being picked up around 1:00am from the Seminyak area, but my pick up was closer to 2:00am. By the time we got to the coffee place for a quick coffee, we had maybe 10 minutes to try to drink the tea and coffee before being transported to the start site. The start site seemed disorganized and we seems to just be standing around for several minutes before meeting our guide and getting food. The path up is narrow so it is hard to pass slower groups, and I was sad when I saw the sun starting to rise and I was only halfway to the first point. I was not able to get to the top of the summit because the guide said that the path would be too crowded with people also coming down the mountain. Overall, amazing view, but I wish the transport had picked me up earlier so the whole group could have made it to the top of the mountain in time for the sunrise. If you are also a more experienced hiker, a private tour may also be better since you could go up at your own pace.
