Mount Fuji group tour - I recently booked a Mount Fuji tour with Shah Travels, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Our driver was not only incredibly friendly but also very knowledgeable about the area. He knew all the best scenic spots for taking stunning photos and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each location. The vehicle was excellent — spacious, comfortable, and made for a smooth and relaxing ride throughout the day. Everything was well-organized, and the entire trip felt effortless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Shah Travels to anyone looking for a convenient and memorable group tour to Mount Fuji. They truly made the experience special!

About a week before the excursion, Mr. Haider Shah contacted me via WhatsApp. He made sure I understood what was included and excluded. He was able to customize my itinerary to what I wanted, because I was planning to go to TeamLabs Planets later that evening. He was honest about skipping some excursions to make the most of my time and money. He was able to make arrangements to pick us up outside of the usual pick up zone. About a day before the trip, he made a group chat that included our chaffeur and tour guide, Sarmad. He was very nice. The car was very clean. Sarmad gave us updates the day before, right before pick up, and throughout our tour day. He pointed out focal points in the scenery, gave us reasonable amounts of time for each location, drove a u-turn back to a picturesque spot we saw as requested, and helped us take many photos. At the pagoda area, he dropped us off as close as possible and told us to text him about 5-10 minutes before being ready to get picked up. He told us when we should leave to beat traffic. We made a last minute decision to change the drop off location (the Urban Dock Lalaport Toyosu Mall instead of TeamLabs) and he was totally fine with it. Our itinerary: 1. Sarmad picked us up (me, husband, mom, and mom’s friend) from Hilton Tokyo in the Shinjuku area. We made good conversation. 2. Helipad: It was a photo opportunity where we could see Mt. Fuji clearly. It was a beautiful and clear day. 3. Oshino Hakkai: major tourist attraction with many shops and some ponds 4. Lake Yamanakako: quiet lake to go paddle-boating or biking 5. Lake Kawaguchiko: major tourist spot with restaurants. The Kachi Kachi Ropeway and a cruise are also available there, but we chose not to do those excursions for the sake of time. 6. Lunch at Houto Labo: comforting udon/sukiyaki restaurant. Great recommendation from Sarmad! 7. Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama Park: The stairs are steep, but there are rails. Be careful. We were blessed to see so many cherry blossoms!! The views were absolutely spectacular, breathtaking, and stunning. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to stand in line starting from the 40-minute mark. I snuck a photo of the pagoda from far away and walked back down. 8. We were in the car to leave around 3:40pm. It was a peaceful drive and I slept. I think we beat rush hour. 9. We got dropped off at Urban Dock Lalaport Toyosu Mall to kill time before Team Labs. Overall, we had a really great time. Having a reliable tour guide who will take pictures for you is priceless!
