Excellent tour! - Our tour guide (Robert) was terrific and the small group size (10) was excellent. The variety of places and things seen made this a good bargain and a very enjoyable trip. The geothermal area was well worth the time!

A Day Well-Spent... - Spent a great day with Nicolee, our Wicked Wanders guide. Her local knowledge added much to our tour. The time spent at the Te Puia cultural center was educational and informative. Seeing live kiwi birds was a bonus, and the geysers were amazing. There was a cafe where we grabbed a snack, and the gift shop had reasonable prices and nice selections. On the way back, we did some sightseeing in Rotorua with some interesting commentary from Nicolee. She stopped alongside a kiwi farm and told us about this major industry and the differences in the gold and green kiwis. On the way back to our port, we went for a walk at the fabulous beach. Nicolee dropped us off at the gates to the port where she had picked us up earlier. Small group tours are the best way to enjoy excursions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It was truly a wonderland! - I only wish we had additional time (beyond the six hours) to be able to spend more time watching the artisans at work and at the mud pots and geysers.
