Family kayak in marsh estuary - Our family of 7 (grandparents, parents, teens and a younger child) did the 2 hour kayak with Chance. He was an incredible tour guide who seemed genuinely appreciative for his job and shared a wealth of knowledge about this area with us. It was amazing! We were curious about the marsh estuaries and learned interesting facts about them. Chance pointed out crabs and birds and explained details about what we were seeing. It was really neat. The kayaking part was easy for everyone and the ride up the marsh was peaceful and fun. Great activity for a family. Highly recommend!

Making memories with the family! - Easy launch for beginners, our guide Tayte was absolutely amazing! He gave us background knowledge of the area, pointed out all the wildlife, etc. Tayte was so passionate!!! We enjoyed the peaceful scenery and the sunset along the way! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to do something on the water…Thank you to the team of Coastal Expeditions!!

Bird sanctuary + kayak tour - We saw so many great birds and really enjoyed the evening!! Tate was an awesome tour guide! Highly recommend this tour to all families coming to visit Shem creek.

Beautiful sunrise experience, great guide, wonderful memories! - Abby, our guide, was great from sending us info to helping us get acclimated. Her knowledge of the area and ecosystem was a huge plus! We were blessed to have a dolphin show up at the beginning and the end of our tour! We did a mother-daughter trip and I (mom!) was a little worried about keeping up. But the sunrise tour was so peaceful and quiet, we never felt rushed yet we saw so much wildlife in addition to the sunrise. Her pictures she shared were awesome as well! Highly recommend the company and our guide, Abby!

Lots of fun! - We had a great time on the tour with Abby! It was high tide so we were able to explore some little creeks that usually aren't accessible, and the clouds and late starting time meant we didn't get too hot even though it was July. Abby was very fun and knowledgeable and we got to see a lot of different birds during the trip.

Amazing experience - Abby did a great job showing us first timers how it's done. The sunrise tour was awesome. The scenery through Shem Creek to Charleston harbor was amazing. Abby was very knowledgeable about the history she shared with us. It was definitely worth the price

Best I've been on - Educated guides, awesome views, and a terrific experience all around on this Baby Pelican tour. I learned something and enjoyed the experience.

Great Family Kayaking - We had a fantastic morning kayaking on Charleston Bay and the surrounding creeks. Abby and Anna were fantastic guides and had so much knowledge of how he area and all the wildlife. We were fortunate to see dolphins and multiple exotic birds. Would highly recommend Coastal Expeditions!

Camp Director experience - Coastal Expeditions was amazing! I took multiple groups here for summer camp over the course of 2 weeks and had the best experience! The staff was super friendly and excited, were knowledgeable of the area and answered all the kids questions, and were extremely patient when some of the kids were not! 11 out of 10, would do again!
