Marrakech-Imlil 1750m -base Camp 3207m

Marrakech - Drive from Marrakech to Imlil and trek to Toubkal Refuge via Aremd & the Mizane Valley
Leaving the city behind we drive south today, towards the craggy peaks and
plunging valleys of the Toubkal Massif. Crossing the Haouz Plain we pass through
the tiny town of Asni, from where our road begins to climb towards the foothills
of the Massif. Below us the valley of the Oued Rhirhaia stretches out into the
distance and small villages cling to the sides of the steep hills as we meander
our way towards the village of Imlil. Here we leave our vehicle and, in the
company of our mountain guide, begin our trek, heading along the Mizane Valley,
first towards the village of Aremd and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch for lunch stop before we continue hiking up to Toubkal Refuge for overnight.
5-6 hours hiking

Toubkal summit-Base camp-Marrakech

Marrakech - Day 2: Trek to summit of Jebel Toubkal(4167m); return to Imlil and drive to Marrakech.
Early this morning we make our attempt on the summit of Jebel Toukbal, the
highest peak in Northern Africa. Our route takes us up the south cirque,
crossing the stream above the refuge and then heading across one of the
mountains numerous scree fields, where we will have to negotiable a seemingly
endless carpet of boulders and rocks. The walking is relatively straightforward,
but the scree and the altitude will make the going quite difficult in parts,
however, the views along the way make the journey more than worthwhile. Cresting
the ridgeline we find ourselves on the plateau, from where it is a short walk to
the summit and the vistas out across the surrounding landscape are quite
breathtaking. From here there are unrestricted views in every direction, make sure you take amazing pictures before you hike down to base camp for lunch then walking down to Imlil village to be transferred back to Marrakech

Hamid is the best! - Wow! What an experience! Words cannot describe……. So well looked after and we had a great group of solo travellers with great senses of humour from around the world. Our guide was very humble and kind, knew the mountains like the back of his hand and helped me when I was so cold with extra layers. I packed too light for the morning part up the mountain. It’s cold and windy then so you need to factor that in. The views were breathtaking 🏔️🤩 a must do for hikers 👍🏻

Fantastic trip - I completed a two-day climb to Mount Toubkal, and the entire trip was fantastic. Initially, it was supposed to be two of us with a guide, but on the first day, my fellow climber found it too challenging and decided not to continue. This left just me and our guide, Yassin. Yassin was exceptional. He matched my pace perfectly, was incredibly encouraging, and had a great sense of humor. His ability to speak four different languages added a unique and impressive touch to the experience. Yassin's guidance and support truly made the climb enjoyable and memorable. I had the best time ever on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend this climb and Omar Adventures as everything was organized well, food was good (thanks to cook Hassan), comms were great.

Toubkal Mountain Trek - Amazing 5* 💯 Communication with the tour operator was easy, they responded within 24hrs. Our group consisted of 4 people + guide. I booked as a solo traveller (UK) and paired with 3 very beautiful people ❤️ (from Spain). Our Guide Yassin 👌 was very kind, extremely caring and the most amazing person 🤩. He looked after us every step of the way 🙌 We had so much fun and laughter, gelled very quickly (Toubkal Family). This is a long and tough climb, recommend 3 days for extra rest. TIP - Carrying less is more, Good walking shoes.

Amazing sunrise tour - We had an amazing tour. Private transport from our hostel in Marrekesh, great lunch and only with 2 people. Compared to other groups with up to 10 people this was a release🙌. We slept in a tent because the refuge was full (happy because otherwise you sleep in a dorm with 20 people).

Best choice for Toubkal trek - The communication was very easy and everything was just great. No problem with the pick up from Marrakech or on the mountain. The provided food was quite good and I really liked the stay at the Mouflon hut. Omar and his guides are really helpful, friendly and entertaining.
