Pura Vida - Great service. Best way to get toLa Fortuna from SJO. Our driver made great conversation and was very good at communicating with us before the pick up.

Great transfer to La Fortuna - Great transfer from the airport straight to La Fortuna. We even did a short stop to see a sloth! They will transfer you exactly to your hotel/Airbnb. The only thing I would say - I’ve arrived to San Jose at 11am and the transfer was at 2:30pm. It took one hour to go through immigration process and then I exited the airport building to the street (and you are not allowed to go back), so I had to wait for two hours in the humid heat. I would just suggest if you are arriving early just to wait in the airport building with AC and communicate to your driver via WhatsApp

La Fortuna Fun - The driver found us quickly and easily exactly on time at the airport. He gathered all of the passengers and got us loaded up rather quickly. The driving was effective to get us to Fortuna in a timely manner. He dropped us off exactly at our hotel and made sure that we were safe before leaving. That bit of security means all of the world when you’re traveling with your child.

Great experience! - Our driver was amazing! He was quick to answer and made sure we got to our destination safely. He also went out of his way to find us when I couldn’t find my way out of the airport.

Great and on time - On time and great communication. Download WhatsApp for communicate with tour operator. For San Jose airport, meet right outside of Malinche restaurant (they’ll send a pic of area via WhatsApp).

Did the job - Israel was our driver. He drove like a bat out of hell 😂 but got me to my hotel safe and he was very nice. Take Dramamine if you get car sick easily there’s a lot of twist and turns.

Safe - Great service! Communication was on point and made it to destination safe and on time. Should have an option to select 1 person for solo travelers.

I wd go to iltcostarica.com and much had been flawless on 5 previous trips. - Volcan travels texted to meet in front of a restaurant inside the terminal. They never came there with the name board. Instead the shuttle was circling around expecting us to come outsid. They never said to do that. I was in contestant touch. The shuttle driver was not communicating their back office was and they did a poor job. After half hrs the shuttle driver finally called us and we happened to see the shuttle bus by accident. Almost thought they weren’t coming at all. Bad service to say the least. The ride itself was as expected.

A mess - The pick up was a mess. First I was told they could pick me up earlier than expected which was great, then they told me they couldn't. I was getting texts from the driver and the company at the same time and they didn't seem to be talking to each other which was frustrating. Imagine dealing with that while deplaning, lugging bags and trying to go through immigration. So, I'm finally told we're going back to the original time frame. I go to meet the driver at the designated spot and he's not there, yet he's texting me he is. I walk up and down the area - no driver, no placard with my name on it. I finally take pictures of myself standing in front of the place. After 10 mins of texting, I meet the driver. The first thing I notice is that his the name of the company on his shirt does NOT match the company I booked with. Red flags! He tells me he is from the same company and he can't stand there because security will kick him out. What? He then explains that he doesn't have the card with my name on it and if you don't have that, you can't stand in line with the other drivers. Ugh. Then maybe bring the card? The card he sent a picture of, what happened to that card? He later showed me the card...in the van. 🤦🏼‍♀️ The whole process was just a mess. Never again. Ever. I deserve a refund. The driver was really nice, but the lack of clear communication was ridiculous.
