You are also welcome to ask them any questions about the ice caps or life in Iceland, and they can take photos of you and your group at the most picturesque spots. Experience the thrill of a day hike that will get your heart racing. Sólheimajökull, a part of the Mýrdalsjökull Glacier - Iceland’s 4th largest, offers a dark, ashy facade due to a combination of ice and ash. We will lead you around various cracks and crevices to explore its uniqueness.
This excursion requires you to meet your guide at the designated parking area for equipment distribution and a safety talk. As the hike is of moderate difficulty, we advise that it may not be suitable for young children or individuals with physical constraints.

Really good experience for the price - It was an easy set up, and really good guide, Kamila. There was 11 of us, and some were more apt to climb and move then others, so that did put a little of a damper. But we were able to see a lot and have a great experience.

Amazing hike on a glacier - We had an excellent glacier hike with Kamilla on June 29. The hike was amazing and Kamilla was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, helpful, supportive and appropriately careful. I enjoyed talking with her. Kamilla did a good job of judging the comfort level of the group in terms of which way to go on the glacier. I would definitely recommend her and the trip to friends!

Fun on Sólheimajökull - We had a great time with Kamila on Solheimjokull glacier hike Thursday Aug 3rd! We loved having a small group. This really was key for an enjoyable experience. She was knowledgeable, friendly and warm. She took pictures of all of us. Provided us with great facts. Found us clay on the glacier for our faces. Included my son who was 9 and the only child on the hike.

Amazing glacier hike with Styrmir - We had an amazing hike on the glacier with Styrmir, the best tour guide ever! He told us interesting stories and legends about Iceland and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the all experience. We can’t recommend this tour (and this guide) enough!

Don't book! 'David Not The Guide' doesn't show up, bye bye money! - Don't book!
I booked for my children and me a glacier hike and paid directly.
David the Guide didn't show up at the meeting time.
I called their office, but they couldn't find the booking.
Two hours later they informed me there was no guide available, so the couldn't guide me and my family, but they never informed me properly, although they had my mobile phone number.
They apologized a hundred times for their mistake, and said it was all on them to blame, but the didn't refund the EUR 350,- I paid them.
From other guides at the glacier I heard, this wasn't the first time 'David The Guide' didn't show up to guide a group.
For me it is 'David Not The Guide
