Amazing Glacier Hiking & Climbing with Steve - Went on the tour with a couple friends and it was a highlight of our trip! Steve was a phenomenal tour guide! We felt nothing but safe as we were hiking and climbing the glacier. Steve was super friendly and went above and beyond. He allowed us to borrow his personal GoPro while we climbed and provided us with the video footage afterwards and he also brought some delicious tea for the group which was a perfect way to unwind after the climb!

Beautiful Glacier Hike - Our Glacier Hike was such a wonderful and unique experience during our trip to Iceland. Our guide, Daniel, was great - he was funny, friendly, and made sure that everyone stayed safe throughout the experience. The glacier is beautiful, the hike is easy, and I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Iceland.

Glacier Explorer Hime was my Favorite Experience from the trip - Such a great and informative experience. The views are amazing and we probably got the best possible guide. 100% recommend. Definitely go for the longer hike. He was able to tell us about all the different features of the glacier and even tied us off at one time to allow us to look into a hole that formed before explaining to us why it formed. You will get many pictures and I even got some of my own 360 images and images on an old film camera I’m excited to see. The pictures I posted really don’t even remotely do the hike justice. The hut is a very short walk from the parking lot. Pack a lunch because you will get a chance to eat. You will even get to drink most likely the purest water you’ve ever drank straight from a glacier. This experience takes up most of the day but it is well worth it in a visit to Iceland!

Great experience - Great experience! Tour guide, Daniel, was fabulous! Physical outing - takes some endurance and strength to walk to the glacier and on the glacier - pretty decent distance - lots of up and down.

Walking on ice! - This was a once-in-a-lifetime tour. Mickele was a great guide. He explained the tour and made sure we all had proper gear to be safe. -- Wear high top hiking boots (over ankles) or rent a pair -- we had a short walk to glacier lagoon, then put on crampons to hike on the ice. All the way, Mickele gave us science and history insights about glaciers and what we were seeing. Not for people who don't like lots of stairs (some large steps on ice) or up-hill walking. This is moderately strenuous. Half of the time is on the ice, other half is dressing and walking to and from the base of ice. Lots of great photo opportunities!

Glacier Hike for the Win! - We were supposed to do the Small Group Glacier hike plus Zodiac boat at Glacier Lagoon. Our boat cancelled on us last minute, but the Glacier Hike was fantastic! Our guide Tin did a great job teaching us about the area and the Glacier. Felt safe and he kept it moving since he knew that is what our group was going for - next time we would level up. Loved seeming the glacier up close. The boat was a bummer, but the Glacier Hike was a win! 🏔🙌

Interesting Experience - This is a very nice experience I can highly recommend when visiting the area around Vik. You will walk on the glacier itself and enjoy the views. Our guide was also very informative and gave us a lot of interesting information about the glacier. It takes some time to get going as everyone has to get fitted with the equipment and then they teach us how to walk with the cramp-ons. Then, we basically walk up the glacier, spend some time at the top taking in the view and some pictures, then walk back down again. I would recommend you bring hiking boots that are above your ankles and some gloves, otherwise you will have to rent the boots from them. They do have some lost and found gloves you can borrow though.
