• Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral located in the historic town of Mtskheta, Georgia, to the northwest of the Georgian capital Tbilisi. A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
• Uplistsiche Cave Town - Uplistsikhe is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia, some 10 kilometers east of the town of Gori, Shida Kartli.
• Stalin Museum - The main corpus of the complex is a large palazzo in Stalinist Gothic style, begun in 1951 ostensibly as a museum of the history of socialism, but clearly intended to become a memorial to Stalin, who died in 1953. The exhibits are divided into six halls in roughly chronological order, and contain many items actually or allegedly owned by Stalin, including some of his office furniture, his personal effects and gifts made to him over the years. There is also much illustration by way of documentation, photographs, paintings and newspaper articles. The display concludes with one of twelve copies of the death mask of Stalin taken shortly after his death.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in the morning and begin our journey at the Jvari Monastery, offering stunning views of two uniquely colored rivers merging. Next, we will venture to the historic Uplistsikhe cave town. From there, we’ll visit the intriguing Josef Stalin home museum, a place steeped in history and memories of the Soviet Union. Following this, we’ll explore Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital. There, we’ll visit the renowned Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Georgia’s second largest church build in the 11th century. Throughout your adventure, we’ll stop for a meal at a traditional Georgian restaurant.
