Fantastic trip - hippos, crocs and sunset 🙌 - We really enjoyed this trip. Mdu was an excellent guide and told us a lot about the hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife that we saw along the way. He is clearly very passionate about KZN’s natural environment and its history and culture. He helped make sure we got some amazing photos of the spectacular sunset with hippos in the foreground that will ensure we remember this trip forever. My daughters (18 & 22) absolutely loved it.

Perfect tranquility in the wild - We were a group of family and friends onboard the Shoreline hippo & croc tour, and it was perfect. Skipper Heinie was very knowledgable of the area and didnt mind taking many questions as we cruised the estuary. Visiting friends from abroad loved the experience and never expected to see the hippos & crocs in such abundance. Peaceful & tranquil boat cruise this was. I highly recommend it! Well done Shoreline crew to a beautiful and memorable experience. Thank you and see you soon again.

Up close and wild but in brilliant hands. - This was an amazing family adventure that was really well guided by Mou our excellent guide and driver. The boat was small but perfect for seeing Hippos and Crocs up close. We had a great experience over the two hour session and learnt a lot about these amazing animals. Would highly recommend.

Hippos galore.... - Dennis was an amazing and informative guide who interacted and answered all our questions eloquently and in a manner that all could understand. 100/10 would have been so happy to just sit on the boat all day, cruising up and down the lake. Hippos were entertaining and the crocs and Birdlife was am added bonus. My family would be more than happy to do this tour again. Many thanks.

Great family outing - We had an amazing morning cruise with Mdudusi. He was a great guide and managed to find us 2 crocodiles and a monitor lizard as well as baby hippos! Our young boys (7 and 4), loved seeing all of the animals and were kept busy swatting ‘hippo flies’ when they started to get restless!

Brilliant boat safari! - It was an absolutely brilliant bot safari trip, we saw so much wildlife and we were so well informed thanks to our guide Mdu. He gave us the history and story of the whole place and all important surrounding areas. Along with that he was very friendly and just an all round nice person to us and all the people on the boat.

Highly recommend! - Such a great tour! Saw so many hippos and Mdu was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide with a keen eye to spot birds. Highly recommended!!!

Great couple of hours and a must if you are near by - What a great experience, saw loads of hippo but a bit hot for the Crocodile, we did see a big log in the river and the guide shouted it was a Logodile. 😃😃. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable definitely worth a visit

Worthwhile! - A worthwhile experience with a knowledgeable guide. We saw hippos with calves, crocs as well as a buffalo and abundant birdlife. We recommend it!
