Great family outing - We had an amazing morning cruise with Mdudusi. He was a great guide and managed to find us 2 crocodiles and a monitor lizard as well as baby hippos! Our young boys (7 and 4), loved seeing all of the animals and were kept busy swatting ‘hippo flies’ when they started to get restless!

Brilliant boat safari! - It was an absolutely brilliant bot safari trip, we saw so much wildlife and we were so well informed thanks to our guide Mdu. He gave us the history and story of the whole place and all important surrounding areas. Along with that he was very friendly and just an all round nice person to us and all the people on the boat.

Great couple of hours and a must if you are near by - What a great experience, saw loads of hippo but a bit hot for the Crocodile, we did see a big log in the river and the guide shouted it was a Logodile. 😃😃. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable definitely worth a visit

Hippo and Croc experience in St Lucia - As a major fan of hippos this was the perfect experience. Boat was good, plenty of hippo sightings, 5 -6 groups of hippos over the lake, and a sighting of a baby croc. Bonus two fish eagles. @Mdu was a friendly, happy, knowledgable guide.. all round perfect introduction to Heritage Tours and St Lucia.

Had a great time - The guide told us all about the eco-system, history, animals and birds. Very interesting. Best time of day to go would be late afternoon when the hippos and crocs are awake and more active.

Perfect ! - Unforgettable walk on the estuary. The walk begins with safety instructions: Here we go ! we go up the estuary where we see incredible fauna and flora. We approach the hippos as closely as possible; The guide explains in detail the flora and fauna: behavior of animals, birds and crocodiles Two unforgettable hours

Hippos galore! - Fresh boat and knowledgeable staff. We were taken on a tour where information started the tour. There are just over 1,000 hippos in the area and also quite a few crocodiles - all completely free and not dependent on humans. Amazing experience to see LOTS of hippos. Unfortunately we only saw one crocodile which left me a little disappointed but that's the charm of educated animals - they're not there just because people want to see them.
