I’d recommend! - The tour guide and driver were lovely. They went out of their way to make sure we were equipt for the activities so that was really appreciated!

If you want to see Chiang Rai in a day this is definitely worth it! - Despite the long drive there and back, we have seen a lot in a short time. Besides the temples and tea plantation we had also made a short stop at Lalitta cafe. One cute place where you can also take perfect Instagram worthy photos. The tour guide told nice information at the relevant places and there was something for everyone during lunch. Recommended!

Chiang Rai Hotels - This was a very nice trip where we got to see many different sights in the Chiang Rai area. It was a nice combination of driving and having a break on the different destinations. One thing is that on the trip we booked, it didn't say we should stop at Long Neck Village. This did nothing for us, as we thought it was nice to see it in addition. But it could be informed more about this in the description of the schedule for the day.

Chiang Rai temples and tea plantation day trip - Good day trip for quick visit to the famous temples and the tea plantation. Good tour guide and driver. Only set back is : poor quality of lunch near White temple where all groups are gathered (old and run down restaurant / food selection not good / taste not good). I ended up ate only a bit.

Worth a trip - A long day ! Lots of driving to get around some of these fantastic sites. Guide was very friendly but we felt we didn't learn too much about the history or cultural significance. The white temple in particular was very interesting

Consistent with description. - Beautiful day entirely according to the description. Guide did fine and there was room to make extra stops. White temple was really the highlight next to the white Buddha. All in all had a very nice day.

Interesting Temples - First, read all the information about this tour. Yes, it’s 3 hours one way but it is broken up with stops on the way there. Also it allowed us to see the landscape of the area. The temples are impressive and there is a lot to see there. Our guide was very gracious and humorous. At times it was a little difficult to understand him, but his English is much better than my Thai so can’t fault him exactly. It wasn’t a deal breaker but that’s why I took a star off because I couldn’t always understand the information about the temples. Lunch is a buffet and a wide variety of food. Don’t forget to get the coconut ice cream at the Blue Temple. It was hot and humid even in the rainy season so come prepared! The other thing I want to say is a big THANK YOU to Viator and our tour guide. I left my phone on the van after drop off as it fell into a crack on the side of my seat. Viator took the time to contact my driver who then took the time to drop off my phone before heading home. It was so appreciated as we had to fly out the next day. Can’t thank them enough and their effort to get it back to me. Big thanks for their help and kindness!! The Thai people are so generous in many ways.

Almost perfect!!! - We visited all locations for about 40/50 minutes. The bus picked us up at the hotel and also brought us back which was very nice. The round trip is about 3/4 hours with 1 bathroom break in between. Lunch was arranged along with all the locations. We have seen everything as stated. Our tour Guide, on the other hand, is described as English tour guide but can not speak English very well so we have not understood much properly. That's the only point that doesn't earn the trip 5 stars. Otherwise a top price / quality ratio. I definitely recommend it. We left at 07:45 and were back 18:35. So you're gone for a full day!

Temple tour of Chiang Rai - It was very unique, we didn’t know anything about any of the 3 temples, it was all new to us. Our guide was good at telling us some information, showing us where to meet and when. He also offered to take photos of us to create memories, which was very kind. We would have liked more of an experience at the tea plantation. We wanted to see the tea factory and have a tasting of the different teas. It was a long day of driving and temple touring. A few things were lost in translation. The driver was very good also, very safe and efficient in the busy traffic, road works and rainy weather!
