Longneck Karen Village - The Longneck Karen Village is home to one of the Karen tribes, known as the Padaung. Originally believed to have come from Yunnan Province in central China, they migrated to the Salween River Basin in Myanmar around 1000 AD. By 1995, approximately 25,000 Padaungs resided in Myanmar, primarily engaging in traditional agriculture. Due to political unrest against minorities in Myanmar, the Padaungs have since dispersed and now live among other minority groups for protection.

Wat Rong Seur Ten (Blue Temple) - Located in the Rong Suea Ten community, Rim Kok subdistrict, this temple was restored by Mr. Phutta Kabkaew, also known as “Sala Nok,” a local artist from Chiang Rai and a student of Achan Chalermchai Kositpipat. The temple is renowned for its stunning and unique applied arts, featuring a distinctive blue hue and architectural beauty from a stucco artist.
Inside the Ubosot, visitors can admire the beautiful and unique design, along with murals depicting the Buddha’s life. The temple also houses Phra Phuttha Ratchamongkhon Bodi Trailok Nak, meaning “the auspicious majestic Buddha of three worlds.” This captivating image stands 6.5 meters tall with a lap width of 5 meters. Within the image are 88,000 Phra Rot Lamphun images, and beneath the Buddha image are rings of gold and silver, along with many valuables. Additionally, the head area contains the Buddha’s relics, bestowed by Somdet Phra Sangharaja Chao Kromma Luang Vajirananasamvara.
