- Wat Rong Khun - The White Temple, also known as Wat Rongkhun, is a must-see on any trip to Thailand because of its extraordinary architecture and renown devotees. - Wat Rong Seur Ten (Blue Temple) - This sacred temple, with its blue and gold exterior decor, is stunning. The interior is just as blue as the exterior, with a large white Buddha erected in the center in the style of modern Buddhist art.
- Wat Huay Pla Kang - One of Chiang Rai’s most impressive temples has a 100-meter-high white Buddha that can be seen from afar. The highlight is the enormous Buddha inside. A lift takes you up to the Buddha’s head, where you can gaze out over the Chiang Rai landscape through the eyes of the statue.
