Superb day in nature - Beautiful day in the forest, the path is natural so walking shoes. Jim, our young guide, is very nice, smiling, joker too and speaking some French and especially top to cook the meal using only bamboos, we feasted. A day full of discoveries, I recommend

Experience the true Northern Thailand - The trekking tour was truly amazing. We visited Thailand during the rainy season, so the tropical forest and rice fields were very beautiful and bright green. During the tour we saw several bamboo forests, a big waterfall, and lots of hill tribe villages. The tour guide was hilarious and super friendly. He truly knew his way around the forest. During the trip, he showed us various plants and explained their use, which was very informative and interesting. The bamboo cooking was also great. We were able to help prepare the ingredients (not required) and watch the whole cooking process from up close. The bamboo cooking itself occured in the forest, although, there was a roof and a water source. Additionally, the guide made bamboo chopsticks and bamboo cups for each of us, which we could keep as a souvenir. It's important to note, the first trekking part of the tour was demanding - especially with the heat, humidity, and uneven ground. We had an older couple in our group and they struggled a lot. If you want to book this tour but are not confident in your stamina and physical capabilities, there is an easy solution: you can skip the first trekking part, travel by car to the bamboo cooking, and continue trekking with the group for the second part of the tour (includes the waterfall). The second trekking part is not as demanding as the first, yet also beautiful. The whole trekking tour was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this, if you want to see the true nature of Northern Thailand.

Absolutely brilliant hiking tour - Amazing hiking tour along beautiful jungle tracks, through villages, fields of corn, tea, lemongrass and pineapple. Highlight for me was a magnificent lunch cooked in freshly cut bamboo in a jungle hut and a visit to a spectacular waterfall. My guides, James Bond 008 and Vin Diesel younger brother, were informative, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about the environment, local customs and history, Quite a challenging hike but highly recommended!

A truly unique experience - The experience was very exciting also thanks to the competence and friendliness of the guides. Above all, it was one of a kind because it is not often you get to cook inside bamboo canes and eat in the jungle. Highly recommended and to try at least once in your life!

Chiang Rai Trek/Waterfall Adventure - An amazing tour that takes you along the edges and into the Thai Jungle in Chiang Rai. Our route was steep, narrow and at times seemed some of the less travelled paths in the jungle areas. Walking through a number of villages and stopping for a bamboo cooked lunch was delightful. The waterfall was a refreshing break from the walking. Pack mosquito repellent and a change of clothes after the waterfall..

A day to remember - One of the best tours we have done. To remember, unforgettable. If you like nature, authenticity, different things and trekking, this is a very complete tour in all aspects. It was impressive. The guide Mo, very fun and attentive. He was 10, with a lot of experience in the jungle, his family is from a town there. Sammy, who acted as driver and cook, was also very friendly and pleasant. Tour, without a doubt, 100% recommended.

Valid experience during your stay in Chiang Rai - The first part of the trek takes place in the jungle, with a good uphill climb and muddy/slippery terrain at times. Okay every case well dealt with. Recommended suitable shoes and long pants. Next stop for lunch (you don't eat bamboo, as I thought, but you cook with bamboo utensils) and then remaining part in more open views (paddy fields, fields and mountains in the background). The guides are very nice and smart, especially Wat. A bottle of water is provided at the beginning of the walk and there is the possibility to buy fresh water at a couple of refreshment points on the way
