Temple's of Chiang Rai - Our guide M, was on time and friendly from the start. What a great guide. He took us to all the temples, accompanied us and explained about the history and meanings of the religious locations. He took us to a hot spring on the way which was a great add on, we were able to get some food and a coffee and relax for a while. Lunch took us to a Thai restaurant near the Blue temple, the food was mainly for the locals, it was cheap, great value and really very nice. We were given cold water and treated to a snack, also a cold freshener wipe which was very welcome. The vehicle was emaculate, clean and comfortable. The temple's on this trip were amazing and well worth the visit. M assisted us with photographs as well, what a man. We thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a visit to the temples of Chiang Rai.

Great experience! - It was a great tour, with great hospitality. Puma, our guide, was well knowledgeable about the temples and other things. She gave us a really good understanding about different things in Thailand. She was great with communicating in English and helped us communicate with the locals as and when required, accommodating our every requirement. It was really comfortable having her as our tour driver/guide. It was really kind and helpful of her to discuss and arrange our other trips, giving us great tips and advice.

Awesome time! - One of the most amazing experiences you could ever have in the Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai area! You'll have the chance to visit numerous temples at your own pace, without feeling rushed. I highly recommend it.

Great guide, beautiful sights - We visited Chiang Rai on a private tour with Puma. The trip lasted about 12 hours. The car ride to Chiang Rai seemed shorter than 3 hours because of all the quuestions our guide answered for us inbetween and her explanations about Chiang Rai and Thailand. You can see and hear her years of experienxe. We had 3 guided tours and she is by far the best in English and explanations. She was very nice and thoughtful, took a lot of good photos of us and never hurried us at a temple. We loved all 4 temples, totally different each of them. Although the temple of enlightenment burned down, the skywalk is beautiful and it shortens the long ride home. Tip:Go into the art cave st the white temple. Better than the temple itself. We highly recommend the tour. One of our best days in our 2 weeks in Thailand.

The Temples are a Must See if You're In the Area - The trip to the Chaing Rai temples was fabulous. In large part because of our tour guide, Puma. Puma helped make the experience a memorable one. She was very knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to go out of her way to make the experience a positive one for the two of us. The temples were incredible to see and walk through. Although it was a long day, we wouldn't have wanted to change a thing.

Amazing tour with Yut - Yut gave me an amazing tour of Chiang Rai’s magnificent temples and the Golden Triangle. Yut was a monk and he is very knowledgeable about Buddhism and explained to me what the various symbols mean in the temples, and shared lots of information about Buddhism with me. He took some incredible pics of me at those beautiful temples. I was initially booked for just the temples. On the day of tour, I requested Yut if he could me to the Golden Triangle too and he checked with his head office and agreed to do that. It was a 15 hour tour with The Golden Triangle, and he drove me patiently and safely and showed me everything thoroughly without rushing me. I highly recommend Yut and you will not be disappointed !!!

Excellent day out with a brilliant guide! - We had a brilliant day on this tour thanks to the friendly and extremely informative tour guide, Puma. Her insight and knowledge of the temples, Thai culture and the religious background were boundless and she made this an unforgettable experience. This tour complemented a number of self-guided visits to temples in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, by being able to discuss and see key aspects of Buddhist temples, old and new. Furthermore the drive through the beautiful Chang Rai countryside, and stops for coffee and an excellent lunch, made this an enriching and enjoyable day. Many thanks to Puma and Pagoda Tours.
