Long day with beautiful sites - We traveled to the white and blue temples, long neck village, golden triangle and opium museum. They fed us a buffet lunch.. The bus was very comfortable and our guide was great. This is a very long day so be prepared.

Stunning - Very long day but worth it, we stayed in chiang rai for 2 nights which I'm very glad about as the 3 hour drive each way from chiang mai would have a pain. The white temple was amazingly beautiful, blue temple stunning, our guide was very knowledgeable, all in all a brilliant day.

Very nice excursion! - What a great experience! Our driver, Anthony, was driving carefully and seriously. Our guide Yok informed us very well about the seven places visited, with a lot of humor. We ate well. Everything was perfect! We recommend this day trip.

Excellent tour, covering... - Excellent tour, covering the main “go to” areas, with a small group and knowledgeable tour guide. The White temple was certainly the highlight of the trip - although not as old as other temples it was stunning ! You arrive at the same time as many other tour busses so the queue at the pathway is busy with everyone taking photos etc. My advice would be to go back again in the last 10 minutes (you have an hour here) - no queue, so excellent photos ! Next off to the Blue temple- quite nice, but not spectacular. The Black museum is a large complex of “houses” showing the artwork and sculptures of a famous Thai artist (sorry can’t remember his name). I really enjoyed exploring the area - although an hour was a little long (this must be to create time for lunch to be ready - great Thai food !). The Long neck Karen tribe has had mixed reviews on here - but I found it fascinating. Yes the main area is set up for tourists, but it’s an income for the tribe. But if you explore the allies behind - and you are encouraged to do so- you see their houses, school and recreational areas. All the people were really friendly and seemed genuinely pleased you have taken an interest. Then the journey continued to a tea plantation- a huge operation, but with a great visitor centre and the opportunity for a 3:00pm cuppa ! Next to the golden triangle- loads of history. Then to the opium museum - this was another surprise. Take the time to read all the info in a very well presented museum- loads to look at and gives the history of opium and the subsequent trade wars. Picked up at 08:15 - dropped off at 6:30pm. Guide spoke good English and surprisingly some Italian and French too. Certainly worth the money.

Great tour - Absolutely excellent tour. We saw a lot in one day. Great guide. She was very knowledgeable about culture and history. We would have preferred a bit more time at the white temple - probably the nicest temple in all of Thailand. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Chaing Rai.

Over all, a thumbs up! - A lot of northern Thailand highlights Squeezed into one very full day. The white temple and golden triangle were highlights for me. The long neck village. Caused me great paws and left me morally conflicted. My hope is that the net benefit to the people and young girls of these villages is positive. Logistics around the pick up or a little confusing, but it all worked out in the end. Overall, great tour and great Tour Guide!

Great tour of Chiang Rai - The tour is well done, the guide was good at giving us the right information while also leaving us time to enjoy the places on our own, she was also very good at explaining the delicate situation of the Karen villagers. Good and plentiful food. I recommend this tour.

All The Sites in 1 Day - A great trip if you want to see all the main attractions in Chiangrai in one day. My only complaint would be not enough time at the White Temple, which is the first stop, and definitely my Chiangrai highlight.

Nice tour, only too many stops overall and therefore quite tiring - Nice tour, just too long overall with too many stops, so quite tiring. Less would have been more. Not quite top in that sense.
