• Chiang Rai - An English-speaking guide and driver will meet guests at their hotel in Chiang Rai City before heading towards the Golden Triangle.
• Wat Pra That Pukhao - Once a hub for drug lords and smugglers, the area now offers a different atmosphere. Local vendors sell souvenirs and handicrafts, and visitors are guided to Wat Pra That Phu Kao, a renowned viewpoint overlooking three nations with the Mekong River as a central feature. There will be plenty of time to shop for souvenirs or locally-made items as a memento of the visit to the Thailand side of the Golden Triangle.
• Mekong River - A boat trip on the Khong from the Golden Triangle to Chiang Saen follows the path along the Mekong River, which is still favored by many for its diverse scenery and sense of remoteness, making the Golden Triangle and the charming towns along the Mekong River a delightful destination.

Here, guests will embark on a long-tail boat for an upstream journey towards the actual Golden Triangle area. With Laos on the starboard side and Thailand on the port side, guests will sail along the border between both nations, disembarking just before the convergence of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.

• Chiang Rai - The half-day tour concludes with a brief stop at Baan Kiew Karn Hmong hill tribe. Baan Kiew Karn is a small settlement atop a mountain where long-cherished traditions remain a part of life before returning to Chiang Rai.

Regions outside the central business district such as Fang, Thaton, Chiang Saen, Chiang Khong, Mae Sai, any surrounding mountain resort outside the Chiang Rai city borders and Chiang Rai International Airport are excluded and supplementary charges apply.
