Highlight of our trip - Our visit to Khao Sok National Park was by far the highlight of our trip to Thailand, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Krabi area. The park itself is absolutely breathtaking, with its towering limestone rock formations rising out of the tranquil lake, surrounded by lush jungle. It’s a must-see experience that truly captures the natural beauty of Thailand. We took a 1-night tour with Sutin Group through Trip House Krabi, and Praeedet was our fantastic tour guide. The trip started early in the morning, with a few scenic stops along the way to break up the drive. We had the chance to go on a nature hike, visit a beautiful temple, and enjoy a delicious lunch by a suspension bridge in the jungle, all of which were included in the tour. The journey continued to a pier where we boarded a longboat to the Phutawan raft house. There are two types of bungalows—capsule-shaped ones that fit four people and small floating houses for two. The accommodations are basic, but the experience of staying in a floating bungalow in the middle of a lake is unforgettable. Electricity is available at night, and each bungalow has a fan. The only downside (if I had to be completely honest) was that the beds weren’t the most comfortable. However, considering we were in the heart of nature, I didn’t expect extreme luxury, and honestly, the experience made up for it. Also, we didn’t find it too hot thanks to the fan, but bear in mind we were there during a milder month. Upon arrival at the floating bungalow in the afternoon, we had some free time to swim or kayak before heading out for a night safari, which was a unique and exciting adventure. Dinner (included) was served afterward, and it was delicious authentic Thai food. The next morning, we enjoyed another morning safari, followed by breakfast (included) at the raft house. Afterward, we explored a cave, which was a fun addition to the itinerary. We then had some more free time before lunch (also included), which was another fantastic Thai meal. Throughout the entire trip, the food was consistently amazing, and the raft house even has a bar for a relaxed drink by the lake. Praeedet was an excellent guide, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that we were all comfortable. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had a memorable experience. If you’re in Krabi, this tour is an absolute must-do. Total change of scenery - Beautiful location, boat tour, jungle tour, cave visit, relax and swim in the lake. We slept in floating bungalows. Thank you to Tourlane for this proposal.

Great private tour - We took the tour on Aug 31st and it was only me and my boyfriend. We are so grateful they did not cancel the tour and were still able to get us through the whole experience. Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel and drove us through a lot of local farming fields and always making sure to provide great local facts. The raft house hotel was better than what I was expecting. There is only a ceiling fan but this was enough as it was not hot during the night. All food was exceptionally great and abundant. Cheow lake is such a beautiful lake and it is worth visiting.

Wow ⭐️ - An absolutely unique place. Soothing / immense / magnificent. We feel alone in the world. Thank you to the Ethika Siam agency for allowing us to experience this. Walk on the lake, trek in the jungle, sleep on floating bungalows, canoe to get close to the banks and try to spot monkeys, birds and wild elephants. It’s difficult to express your emotions in such a place. Go for it !

Beautiful, friendly, caring - We had a great time with our guide Pradet. He was very friendly and enthousiastic. He teached us some things about his country and language. He knows a lot about the National park and helped us with everything we needed. He was listening to us when we requested to do something different then we planned. We really recommend this tour for everyone!

Worth every penny - I cannot recommend this tour enough! My boyfriend and I both agree that it was our favorite part of our whole time in Thailand. Our guide Aeg and driver Dean were both very kind and accommodating. My boyfriend and I were the only people on the tour and they made sure we had everything we needed. They stayed with us the entire time and had a room at the raft house. Aeg accompanied us on all our tours and answered all our questions. Every meal we had was a delicious feast! We are both vegetarians and Aeg made sure we had special meals. The Rafthouse was worth the money alone. It is absolutely beautiful. It was just us on all of our lake tours and it was a truly magical experience!

Fishing Chow Lan Lake - I have just finished a snakehead fishing trip with my son on Chow Lan Lake. Wow, what an adventure. Scenery amazing, fishing amazing and our guide, Neil sensational. From the moment we got on the long tail boat we were soon fishing in some pristine wilderness surrounded by wildlife. We were fortunate to encounter, elephants, deer, buffalo, wild pigs, various monkeys, large snakes and many types of birdlife. The accommodation was rustic, ( as we were told by Neil in advance) but really fitting with the surroundings. Fishing was not easy, ( as this is not a pond fish out, but a huge water catchment), but productive over the 4 days non the less. Fishing in the rivers was a real experience and we would have continued if not for the unwelcome advances of an elephant and, ( we think) her young. For any one who would really like to experience real fishing in a jungle enviroment, this is the trip you should put on your bucket list and Neil from Fishing Khao Lak is someone I would highly recommend as he make the whole trip really easy from pick up in phuket to drop off back to the airport if needed. Bring a sense of adventure and be prepared to rough it a bit and it will be a fishing trip to remember. Highly recommend. Graham

HORRIBLE and unethical operator by SUTIN GROUP, booked under Trip Store Store :Short-changed / ripped off - Our holiday to 1night 2 day tour of Cheow Lan lake was spoilt by Our holiday to 1night 2 day tour of Cheow Lan lake was spoilt by Sutin Group operator !!! We booked the package despite the expensive tour price but still feel it is worth the price as we were drawn by the capsule bungalow raft stay (as shown in the photo gallery) n the interesting itinerary sounds exciting. We do this tour because of the capsule bungalow raft . However, we were greatly disappointed n felt cheated when the operator brought us to another raft accommodation that is very basic , w basic n run down toilet. I showed the operator the photos of the capsules bungalow raft n told him this is where am supposed to stay for the night. He lied n said that accommodation is for 4pax n not 2person. I told him it is for 2person n then he lied by saying the accommodation is not available on that day and they have informed me !! The operator (Prathdep, i may not spelt his name incorrectly??) then assigned another guy (Mr Ai ?? ) to take care of me and friends n left with the boatman to pier) He said Mr Ai will be in charge . I showed Mr Ai the itinerary n with limited English , he said ok. The beginning of our series of nightmare !! We know we were at the mercy of the ‘bogus operator ‘ n at their mercy as nothing much can be done Next , as stated in itinerary, we are at leave at 5pm for evening safari. We were ready at 4.50pm n waited till 5.30pm. Other groups have already gone for their safari n I approached the operator n asked him why are we not leaving fr safari at 5pm. He said the boatman has sent Prathdep to pier n will return soon. We waited from 4.50pm till 6.30pm n by then most tourist fr other group have returned from their safari. I asked mr Ai n told him It is getting dark. He said he has torch n assure us we will go for our safari . I questioned him what is there to see in total darkness ! We are here for “evening safari”. I was extremely disappointed. As expected , it gets total darkness n we did not have our safari. We saw The boatman during dinner time After dinner, I confirmed with Mr Ai next day program. We are suppose to do morning safari at 7am, return fr b.fast at 8am n then do mini jungle hike n the cave Mr Ai changed our itinerary. He said we will hv b.fast at 7.30am n then we will go for morning safari n cave !!! Again, we were not able to do our morning safari I got up the next morning around 6.30am n I was enjoying the beauty of the morning scenery of the place n was feeling indignation that we are not doing the morning safari After b.fast,, we set off in the boat at 8.15am !! Mr Ai bring us straight to the cave . No explanation on the cave. We were done in less than 20min. What happen to mini jungle hike ?? What happen to cave tour ??! Nothing !!! After I returned from my tour, I email Trip Store Krabi n told them my nightmarish experience. They email to me nbwirh great audacity, told me they verified my complaints with Sutin operator . They claim my complaint were not true n said the operator cancel evening safari as it was pouring . What rubbish !! I told Trip Store Krabi, I have taken photos of the place when we arrive, I have photo of me Swimming on the lake, I have photos of me taken while I wait for the boatman to return. All photos has time indicated n there is a clear day !! It did rain a short time when we were in boat to the accommodation around 3pm+ As for changing the next morning safari at 7am, the operator gave the pack of lies that we do not want to get up at 7am as it is too early n we want to sleep late ???? I told Trip Store Krabi I am there for the morning safari . I have photos taken around 7.15am, sitting around , enjoying the morning view Trip Store Krabi n Sutin Group service sucks.
