The best driver in Algeria - We hired Fares to drive us from El Kala to various tourist sites across Algeria, ending in Algiers. He and his colleague Youghorta were committed to making sure we were comfortable and were able to see everything we hoped for while still tempering our expectations about what was possible. They were happy to translate, aid in negotiations with local vendors, and show us around all the sites. I was always impressed with Fares’ ability to find a parking spot and meet us within the bustle of the crowds. Best diver for Algeria - Fares drove and drove for us. We knew he may have been tired and hungry, but getting us where we wanted to go was his priority. He never complained. He treated us to cold water when the heat became oppressive. He walked with us through all the sites. He was very responsive to Whats App while I was arranging his services. Using a local driver is much safer than trying to rent a car and drive Algeria on your own. Standards of auto comfort may vary from what we in some nations are accustomed to. It’s part of the experience. Enjoy!
