Stunning views of life in the slums - Ruqaiyya, our guide, was amazing. Real tour. Seeing full reality of the busy and productive slums of Mumbai. Amazing experience.

Fascinating Tour - We spent an incredible afternoon with Sajid. He explained everything about being raised in and living in Dharavi. He was very open and honest about every day life in the slum. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about all the industries that take place, how people survive and took us to visit so many different areas both commercial and residential. He even showed us his own home. It was an honour to meet such a personable young man and we would highly recommend this tour to see a very real way of life in Mumbai.

Slumtour with Ruqaiwa - The Slumtour with Ruqaiwa and her Trainee Rehana was such a pleasure. I highly recommend it to everyone! So interesting to learn about life a slum.

Awesome tour of Dharavi - Very interesting and eye opening tour of Dharavi by our guide, Chirag, who has lived there all his life. He knows Dharavi inside and out and he showed us all the industriousness of the people who live there.

Great tour - Amazing to visit the Dharawi slum along with Ruqaiyya who was an excellent guide. We went through the industrial area as well as the residential area and met a lot of people. I even got a haircut at a local barbershop and got the chance to work at the bakery without success. We booked the private tour (2 people).

Our guide, Ruquaiyya, was... - Our guide, Ruquaiyya, was very knowledgeable and personable. Her English was excellent and very clear. She knew about many of the systems in the slum and also had a lifetime of first hand experience. The tour showed all sides of life in Dharavi from home to work and positives and negatives.

Unforgettable Experience with Ruqaiyya - The Dharavi Slum Tour is an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. I managed to book a tour the last afternoon I was in Bombay and It was worth every minute. I was guided by Ruqaiyya, a joyful self determined young woman who lives in the neighbourhood and has a good knowledge of what is going on in the community. She is not only knowledgeable but also witty and a briliiant story teller. I not only learnt a lot but also had heaps of fun while wandering through the maze of narrow alleyways. I'm super grateful to Ruqaiyya and her friends.

Dharavi Slum tour - I was anticipating the slum tour to learn and see the hidden world. Our tour was given by Ruqaiyya, a self taught English speaking guide with great knowledge. She did a spectacular job introducing us to the history, the local small industries, the populations, common areas, the people and their lives to us. Nothing beats hearing first hand from its resident, Ruqaiyya! Highly recommend this short tour.
