A unique भटकंती - I have spent almost more than a decade in South Bombay area aka SOBO, while I was working as an Architect, and prided myself on knowing most of the iconic structures and their history. But when we cousin's decided to go for this Castle 2 Gateway walk, I was completely mesmerized with the not-so- known-facts and realities about these historic places, that Priya spoke about during this walk. Priya explained to us about the various contributions by the native Indians in the birth of these structures (like the famous Asiatic Library/ actuallythe Town Hall) and infrastructure (the Railways), which were always known to be established by the British. She not only explained to us, the history behind these iconic development, but also went to the depths of their cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, geographic conditions and the visions of the great men behind these iconic heritage structures. Priya is so thorough in her knowledge and her passion for the subject made this walk an exceptional and unique experience for all of us. Priya has such a creative knack for explaining history and geography, so interestingly, that it left a great impact on my mind and has completely changed my perspective towards Mumbai. I'm sure if we were taught these boring subjects of history and geography with such experiential methods, it would have been very impactful. I would highly recommend such experiential activities for the new generation. Many thanks to Priya and Khaki Tours, for this unique experience, would love to be part of more of such heritage walks.

Castle to Gateway walk with Ms. Priya Awasare - Having been born and brought up in 'Bombay', and also having studied Architecture, I realised during this Walk, that there were so many interesting things about my city, Mumbai, that I didn't know, until today! The many historic facts, collected and nicely curated by Khaki tours, were explained to us by Ms. Priya Awasare by way of interesting quizzes and intriguing stories, which made it totally fun- filled. Priya is exceptionally knowledgeable about the subject and was equally kind to address all our naive questions. This was an interesting and informative experience for us - I recommend to everyone to definitely experience it. Overall, Mazza Aa Gaya!! Thank you Priya, you were wonderful ❤

A fun FortWalk with Priya!!! - The Castle to Gateway walk with Priya Awasare was not just an insightful experience but a very interactive session!! Every pit stop along this walk was so articulately explained that it’s not easy to forget the unknowns about the city especially the Fort side that we got to see through historic lens. Thank you Priya Awasare for making this walk all worth it!! Truly worthy of recommendation:)

Good walking tour - It was ok! I was expecting to see more historical sites and not from photos in a book. My expectations were based on other walking tours I have done in other parts of the world. Walking tours are my favorite as you learn a lot about history and immersion in the culture.
