The Perfect Guide - So Much Fun and so much food! This tour is a must if you want to get a real feel for everyday life in Mumbai. Nasreen Mehta was our wonderful guide . She is very knowledgeable in both history and modern culture and was able to answer all of our questions . Organized and efficient she steered us through the crush of the streets and made sure we were safe. Even her food selections were thoughtful to account for our different tolerances for spicy foods . By the end of the evening it felt like Nas was family. Thanks Nas for a great evening

A fantastic evening with delicious food. - We had a marvellous evening experiencing the sights and tastes with Meherban Irani. He was very knowledgeable about the culture and history and guided us through several food tasting stops, making the whole evening very enjoyable and great fun. We were very glad we booked this tour which was one of the highlights of our time in Mumbai. Highly recommended.

Meat Lovers Food Walk! - The Kebab and Curry Food Walk was fabulous! The food, the trivia, the atmosphere and the people were all so great. The host, Abhishek Ravishankar, was an amazing tour guide and helped us learn so much about the culture and the area we have known for so long. I would highly recommend this tour!

Fulfilling!! - The good walk was great, an amazing selection of the best items from each of the stalls. Heer did a great job of explaining the history and story behind each place and dish, and coordinated the courses of sweet and savory very well. She was also super fun and personable, would love to go on more tours with her!

Awesome food tour - Such a great food tour through a busy neighborhood in Mumbai. The food was incredible, and the guide Aman really made it incredibly special. He provided history and context with each bite so we enjoyee the discussion in addition to the food. I highly recommend this tour for anybody, especially those with an appetite for adventure.

A spectacular taste of Mumbai - Our tour with Aman was a phenomenal experience, definitely one of the highlights of the trip! The credit for our enjoyment goes largely to Aman, who taught us about the history of Mumbai (and India at large) in a remarkably engaging and accessible way. By the end of the tour, we felt like good friends. As for the food itself, I have to say it was like nothing else I've had before despite growing up in an Indian family and making several prior trips to India. We didn't necessarily love every dish, but they were all interesting and unique. The highlight for us was the restaurant we visited at the end, where we had the most incredible chicken dish I've tasted in India. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can get Aman as your guide!

The highlight of my Mumbai stay - What a fantastic tour. We went to a region of Mumbai that was well away from the tourists. And tasted authentic cuisine sold from small , friendly vendors. Abi - the tour guide - was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about food. As well as filling our bellies with food we learnt a lot about the culture and history. Would highly recommend

10 out of 10 - Fantastic experience from the start to the finish. Super host Aman was so knowledgeable. He was very personable and friendly. He also kindly took pictures and shared them with us afterwards.. fantastic food. Introduced to food we would never have found on our own. Thank you Aman it was great!!

Spectacular food and cultural tour, with an excellent guide! - Our food tour was led by the excellent guide Meherban Irani, who explained so much to us about the market area we visited and the community of Bohri Muslims who frequent it. We had tastings at no fewer than 10 locations, alternating between savory and sweet in the manner of a Bohri feast. We tried so many unique things, from chaats I’d never seen, bone marrow and goat trotters with a tandoori bread, intense muskmelon and watermelon sharbat, fried cow udders (!), a curry made with a rolled leaf in a meat sauce — and many other Gujarati and Bohri delicacies that were described in detail by Meherban, who also shared with us a good dose of history and culture to put the whole experience in context. I could not recommend this tour (and Meherban) more!
