Contrast of India - Abishek was well knowledgeable could answer all questions, gave us lot of inside in the life of the people living in this big slum. The tour is very informing and very interesting but also sometimes a bit too much to experience.

Amazing exploration of Dharavi Slum and Dhobi Gat - The tour was amazing! They are very professional and caring for the local people. I had a local gay from Dharavi and another local from Dhobi Gut. They really explain and show you everything and do it with a lot of dignity and care for both the local people and the guest. I usually want to explore on my own and avoid guided tours, but I have to admit that without their amazing guides (I am terrible with names :( ) I wouldn't be able to know nothing about this amazing places. Highly recommending! 🙏

Would recommend! - This tour was very interesting! The tourguide was from Dharavi himself so he could tell me everything about it. We started with meeting the dabbawalla’s and then proceeded to the Dhobi Ghat. He arranged a personal guide that lives in the Dhobi ghat so I could see everything! After we moved to Dharavi by train. The tour was very informative and well organised. We finished with a lunch at his house in Dharavi which was cooked by his mother. I had a lovely day and i would recommend this tour to everyone!

Fascinating look at Mumbai's demanding jobs, through the eyes of a local. - I'm so glad I booked this tour - it was a fascinating look at the working class of Mumbai, people who come from all over the country to the city of dreams to make their way in some of the most demanding and thankless jobs. Rakesh, who told us he lives in Dharavi with his parents, was an engaging tour guide full of interesting facts about each of our stops. Suggest wearing closed shoes that you can get wet, as you may encounter pools of soapy water in Dhobi Ghat. And bring water and a hat! For those with accessibility questions: I have bad knees and was worried about the walking and stairs, so I brought a cane to help manage the uneven terrain. The tour is accessible only for people who can climb multiple steps of train stairs - I think we went up and down 8 multi-flight sets. The ground in Dhobi Ghat and Dharavi is extremely uneven, and we were on our feet for nearly all of the 4 hours of the tour.
