Time well spent in Mumbai - We really enjoyed our local Mumbai tour with Parveen. We learnt so much about the history of the city and how the locals live today. Eating food with the locals and crossing the city on public transport all brought life in Mumbai into focus - all whilst hearing about the wonderful buildings and the major events of the past. A fantastic way to experience Mumbai.

Best way to see Mumbai! - The tour was really amazing. We did indeed feel very local as we walked through the streets, got on a local bus, used the black and yellow taxis, and even jumped in a train. It all was such a physical experience. Our guide Amruta, bestowed upon on us history, culture and a better understanding of all we saw and felt, and tasted!

The best tour to see the real Mumbai - We thoroughly enjoyed our Mumbai Local tour. We really got to see the real Mumbai, travelling on a local bus, a local train in 2nd class and the yellow and black taxis. Trying the Street Food was so much fun. The food, recommended by Tanvi, our gorgeous guide, was so tasty and we would never have tried it otherwise. Tanvi spoke perfect English and her knowledge of this city was excellent. This private tour really is the best way to see this incredible city. We highly recommend Mumbai Magic tours as they were excellent, great value and communication was prompt. They were so good that we booked on their Dhavari Slum tour for the next day.

Best way to see Mumbai with real experts - Incredible guides and they went through a number of wonderful places in Mumbai , with the iconic yellow/ black taxi , on the train and on the bus. They were knowledgable guides and helped really put the city and society in perspective. I felt my children got a real immersion course about Mumbai and the beauty of the city in a few hours. So lucky to find real experts on the ground and really insightful.

Opening your eyes to the city within the city - On the afternoon of Friday, 18 October 2024, my wife and i were taken on the Dharavi slum tour by 20-year-old lical guide, Kashif. The tour was a revelation to us, discovering a veritable city within the city, 1 million people living within an area the size of a small village. Kashif took us through the various cottage industry districts of Dharavi: plastic recycling, metalworking, leather working, garment manufacture and pottery. It was astounding to see such complex processes being taken from start to finish and the ingeniousness of the individual artisans working in the dirt and searing heat, bu earning a living all the same. Our guide Kashif was born and raised in Dharavi abd had done several of the jobs himself. He was a mine of information and spoke joyfully and in fluent, colloquial English. He opened our eyes to the reality of the "slum", where people live out their lives and, despite what we westerners would call poverty and squalor, survive thanks to their great industriousness and a strong sense of community. I can strongly recommend this fascinating tour and Kashif as the guide.

A fascinating experience in Mumbai - I had enjoy very much of what Divya (my tour guide) has shown me on Mumbai. The history, the tale and the life in Mumbai.
Also, Vithal (my dedicated driver) took good care of me during pick-up and return route.
I am so glad that Mumbai Magic has accepted my booking and adapt the tour to my schedule. I would proudly and loudly recommend Mumbai Magic to anyone looking for tours in Mumbai.

Highly recommended - I got a really nice tour through Mumbai by Amruta. She told me a lot about the history, monuments and sights of Mumbai.
We visited a museum about Mahatma Ghandi, then the oldest and largest laundry in Mumbai, walked through a vegetable market, took public transport around the area and the highlight was of course the street food - but in a restaurant that is known for its cleanliness and quality. I could highly recommend the tour! :)

Great Slum Tour Experience. - Mosin was an amazing tour guide! Very eye opening experience to explore the slums in Dhravi. He answered our questions very willingly and helped us a lot during the heat. Really went above and beyond to help us with our stay in Mumbai! Thank you to Mumbai Magic for this experience.
