Safe street food - We walked around and had great food from some nice clean food stalls with Muskaan. She explained the dishes and actually amended the menu to accommodate some dishes that we were interested to try. Totally recommend it.

Nice short but sweet tour - Vrushali was an excellent guide as she took excellent photos , she spent much effort to find a substitute stop at the end since the typical last stop was closed, and she was familiar with the various snack items.

Food good; avoid the guide! - We booked this tour from the Booking.com website. Subsequently, discovered that this then went through the Viator website and the tour was through Yo Tours. On the plus side I had expected that only small tasting dishes would be included and that we would have to pay to have a more substantial portion. In fact over the course of the tour we had enough for a full dinner. On the downside our guide, Nisar, wasted time and we could have experienced a greater variety as well as having more information about the food. Nisar took us to the old railway station and spent a lot of time talking about the building. Unfortunately, his information was completely wrong. He said that Queen Victoria had lived there (she never visited India!) and only after independence was the building converted to a station (it was always a station!). We had booked a walking tour of Mumbai for the following morning and our hearts sank when we discovered that it was also with Nisar.

Wasn't as advertised, very disappointing! - We are extremely disappointed with the experience we had with Yo Tours yesterday. We booked the tour on Thrillophilia (attached images of the description on their website), according to their policy it is up to the tour operator to keep the information on that page updated and that they are solely responsible for guiding the tour. So the tour operator is entirely to blame for the terrible tour we were led on. We were meant to be led on an evening tour but my concerns were first raised when the guide messaged me the day before to say we would be meeting at 1pm and in a location that was different to what was on the Thrillophilia page. I told him about this but he said that if we started later some of the locations would be closed so I didn't question it further. Little did I know that we were also being taken to different locations altogether. The tour itself felt pretty flat. The locations and the food selection were pretty poorly selected. These weren't the ones listed in the tour we had paid for and were expecting. Of the 5 things we tried 2 were desserts (ice cream and a creme custard dessert) which to be honest isn't that exciting and definitely not worth the cost of the tour. Not to mention the first thing we had was a bowl of Poha (flattened rice) which would leave you deceptively full for the rest of the tour. One of the locations was shut so our tour was also shorter than it should have been. I was surprised when we got to the 'final location' and our guide said that it was done, this was when I pulled up the website and showed him what we thought we were going to be experiencing during the tour. He explained that he gets assigned the tours by the operator and guides us on the route that they give him. We also ended up paying more than what was advertised on Thrillophilia (marked as 700, we paid 900) but didn't hesitate when booking as we thought we were getting what we'd read on the page and we were excited to take part in that tour. In the end, we absolutely did not get what we paid for, we have contacted the tour operator asking for a full refund so hopefully we will hear back because it was a total scam. Would definitely not recommend and would not book again.
