Mumbai & Dharavi slums tour - We had a fantastic day. All of the places we visited were very interesting and the guides we had were exceptional and gave us a lot of interesting information about the city. Sneha who guided us through the Mumbai slums was very informative and showed us a side of Mumbai which we never had seen if we travelled independently. We would definitely recommend Magical Mumbai Tours.

More Than Service Professionals: Friends Who Welcomed Me to Mumbai - Credit to Samir for assembling such an outstanding team of knowledgeable and friendly guides and driver. They all were more than service professionals: they became friends for the time we spent in the city and country that they love. I’m an American man, 60, traveling solo: Varsha— the best guide to show me the hard working people of Dharavi ; Aryan- accompanied me on Bollywood tour, who shared my love of Bollywood film and music; Amit- gave me the day tour of Mumbai, who taught me about the many people, religions, and languages found in Mumbai; Ismail- who drove me each day: safe , reliable, and calm in the chaos of Mumbai traffic; And Sahil—- I ‘ll never forget. My best bud who accompanied me (and Ismail) through Pune and the Holi festival. One of the most joyful times of my life. I’ll remember you all. I will pray for your well-being and happiness. And i surely hope to see you again. Perhaps next year. Michael J. Eckhout

Fabulous day out! - Excellent tour. Both parts were so interesting and both our guides, Anu and Aryan, were amazing. So knowledgeable and being local they were able to answer all our questions.

Mumbai is magical. No wonder the colonizers loved it so much. - Highly recommended. Began with Pooja who does her job expertly, in Dharavi. Do this do you can understand the value of Dharavi. The rest of the tour included markets and historical sites. Hassan is the perfect driver and Mumbai host. Shivam was my tour guide here. He was professional and informative. He did underestimate my knowledge of Gandhiji and made a couple mistakes but I won't hold it against him. I chose to have dinner at the Taj Hotel. Bahut mahenga but the experience qas worth it. My tour had great value for the cost of it. A great way to have an introduction to Mumbai fir it is so much more.

Pre-cruise Mumbai tour - We had an amazing time on the Mumbai city tour. Our full day tour was lengthy but well worth it. The tour started off with Pooja taking us around the slums. This was thought-provoking and provided a great insight into the lives of those who lived in the area. She made time to answer all of our questions. Pooja was attentive and informative. We felt safe at all parts of the talk. After a half an hour break, in a western style coffee shop in the slum area, Sam and a driver then took us around to see the key sites of Mumbai city. The vehicle was well maintained and safe. The tour was tailored so that we could focus on the sights we really wanted to see. For example, we skipped the cricket grounds as our family isn’t the sporty kind that we spent some time shopping at Crawford market., Sam was keen to share his knowledge of Mumbai with us and was able to provide a historical and societal narrative on the city. He was also waiting to take family photos at every opportunity. Mumbai at night was spectacular! I highly recommend this tour.

Would recommend! - Varsha was a wonderful tour guide. We appreciated her passion and knowledge throughout the tour. You could tell that she enjoys what she does and is good at it. The slum tour was well done and a highlight. They put you in a small group of other tourists for the slum tour and then you are transitioned to a private guide and driver for the rest of Mumbai. It was a thorough tour of Mumbai and allowed us to see everything within a day. We felt safe as two girls in our 20s. Good amount of time was offered at each site. The only thing that would have been nice was if there was time/place offered for lunch as it was a very full and long day without stopping for food.

Eye opener of a day - Very informative and well structured tour . Slums were an absolute eye opener . Traffic in the city caused delays between venues .

Chaotic, disappointing and not as promised - What we received was not what we booked. It was chaotic, the tour operator did not provide what we booked and viator were unhelpful in trying to resolve the problem. We booked a tour with a guide but there was no guide. Thank goodness our driver was lovely and tried hard to help but he was unable to give us the same experience a guide would have. We should have had a guided tour of the open air laundry but only got to view it from above. We should have had a ferry ride but that didn't happen. We didn't go into Crawford market which was on our itinerary. The chat with viator resolved nothing. They took a long time to understand that a guide was booked but not provided, then said they couldn't get through to the operator and gave me the phone number to call them myself. Very disappointing as there were some amazing sights and we had really hoped to see understand more about the history and culture of the city. I would advise people not to book this tour.
