Great private city tour - Had a lovely, informative private tour around Mumbai today. Visited dobi ghat, Gandhi's house, the water tank, a Jain temple, Gate of India, Little London with all the old colonial buildings, all very interesting. Our guide Suresh Yadal could not do enough and we can thoroughly recommend his service. Tel 9869192596

Must see tour 👍🏼👍🏼 - Easy way to see all the local attractions. Elephanta Caves were a standout. All inclusive. Tour guides were knowledgeable and polite. Driver was friendly and picked me up from the hotel then to the gateway and caught the ferry with me over to the caves. Drove us around town and back to the hotel. Absolutely recommend this tour for anyone. 👍🏼👍🏼

Private Mumbai Tour - Excellent introduction to the city of Mumbai. Neha was an excellent guide for this private tour. We visited a broad range of important places in Mumbai. Neha gave us a great opportunity to learn about the Indian culture and the history of the city. We saw the central city and the main railway station, Mumbai university, cricket match, bayside park with spectacular skyline views, hanging gardens, Ghandi museum, laundry center and the gateway to India. Excellent driver Didhar. We recommend this.

Mumbai Tour with Slums - A slum tour with Anu was an eye opening experience. Anu was informative and we enjoyed her company. This was followed by a Mumbai tour, which we also enjoyed. A long and tiring day but nevertheless enjoyable.

Way too long! - The good: Guide and tour was good. Learned a lot and an incredible experience. The Bad: If you are coming from a cruise, although it says it’s a private tour it isn’t but says it the fine print. They put you with the entire group from the cruise on this tour. For us it was about 15. What was advertised as a 6-8 hours proved to be 11 hours. The slum tour was good but didn’t need to see so many of the same things. We spend almost 4 hours there.

Hopeless - The tour operator never turned up. We tried to contact them on WhatsApp 3 times without success. The concierge from our hotel phoned them and they said they had no details of the booking. Finally they offered, through the concierge, to pick us up at 2.30 which wasn't suitable. They said that they had contacted us but needless to say, they hadn't. Obviously they can't be trusted. We are still fighting yo get a refund which is disappointing as our contract is with Viator not the local operator.

Total rip-off - This tour was awful. It was basically just a cab driver (no separate guide) and he barely spoke any English. He could not even answer simple questions like “Where are we going next?” He did not get out of the car but would pull up next to a site, point in the general direction we should walk, and tell us to come back to the car in 20 minutes. The one time he did get out of the car, it was only to take our picture with his own phone, I assume so he could post it somewhere. He did not explain anything and never even introduced himself so I cannot include his name in this review. The description of this activity says that tickets for some of the stops are included in the price but we did not go into anything that needed tickets. There was no bottled water provided during the day, contrary to the description. We ended up asking him to end the “tour” early (after 4 hours of this) and take us back to our hotel. Considering how inexpensive taxi rides are in Mumbai, this “tour” was not only useless but also wildly overpriced. Most disappointing thing I have ever reserved through Viator
