Gateway of India - We begin the tour at the Gateway of India.
The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai - Some of the most influential women and men of the last 200 years have stayed at this iconic hotel. We’ll hear all about them, and about how this hotel was built in the first place.
Regal Cinema - This art-deco cinema theatre was the place to be for all things movie related in the mid-1900s. It hosted all the Bollywood greats, and rarely ran to anything less than a full house.
Wellington Fountain - We stop to take a look at the colonial-era, stone fountain built to honour the famous Duke of Wellington.
Elphinstone College - We stop outside this college, an excellent example of Gothic Revival architecture in the city.
Jehangir Art Gallery - We pass by the Jehangir Art gallery which was built in the 1950s, and was the hub for modern art in Mumbai.
Kala Ghoda Art Precinct - The Kala Ghoda Art precinct houses a statue with an interesting story behind it.
Watson’s Hotel - We stop outside this hotel which was one of the swankiest hotel in Bombay in the late 1800s.
Rajabai Clock Tower - We stop outside the Fort campus of the University of Mumbai, to take a look at the beautiful Rajabai Clock Tower.
High Court Principal Bench Bombay - We pass by this grand building which is one of the oldest high courts in India.
Bombay House - This magnificent four-storey mansion is the head office of the Tata group.
Flora Fountain - We stop at this beautiful, recently-restored water fountain that features Flora, the Roman Goddess of Spring.
State Bank of India, Corporate Centre - We pass by this building that came up in the early 1900s.
Horniman Circle Garden - We pass by this small garden that played big role in the making of modern Bombay.
St. Thomas Cathedral Mumbai - We finish the tour at the 16th century St. Thomas Church, built by the British.
